Amazing food and happy servers with good attitude, care about customers. Food came out quickly and hash browns on point.
My husband and I really enjoy going to Gabe's Cafe for breakfast. Today we rode our bikes to breakfast. We arrived at 9:30am and... there was not a wait for a table outside. Our server was bright and cheery with a helpful attitude. I ordered the half order ofhuevos rancheros, and my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. Everything was delicious! I ordered my eggover medium and it was perfect. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a breakfast joint and the egg is overcooked when Iask for it over medium. This egg was perfect and situated on top of a corn tortilla with beans, grated cheddar cheese, and greenchili sauce. It was served with hash browns that had just the right amount of crisp. Our server was great and refilled my coffeeseveral times, as well as my husband's Coke. He liked his biscuits and gravy. By the time we finished there was a wait to get atable. We're lucky to have Gabe's Cafe in our backyard. Read more
We came with a group of eight on a busy Saturday morning and were seated fairly quickly. The server was friendly. I had the... waffle combo, two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and it was very good. My wife had the pancake combo and she said they were goodtoo. Others had biscuits and gravy, a skillet combo and said they were good too. The only failure was the French toast, whichwas made from plain sandwich bread, and he wished he didn't order it. I will probably come here again when in the area to tryout other dishes. Read more
Great experience!! Had the blue bacon burger. It was delicious. Service was also great. Not once did I have to ask for a... drink refill. Our waitress was awesome. The only thing is the bacon could have been a little less crispy, but the overallexperience was enjoyable. When I make it back to Frederick, I'll be stopping here again for lunch. Read more
We had a great breakfast here this morning. The pancakes had the perfect crisp surface and fluffy middle. The Gabe's skillet... was enormous and delicious. The half breakfast burrito was more than a meal. Be warned the green chili sauce has a bit of akick. Our server, was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful and had a sense of humor. We will be back, hopefully on a weeklybasis. Read more
Nice atmosphere and the food was great. I got the Mushroom Swiss with fries and that was amazing and not super greasy either.... Also had their pecan pie which in my opinion was the best one I've ever had. Highly recommend this gem. Second visit I got thenew York strip which was cooked exactly how I liked.
