I went to their location last night in frederick, and the girl behind the ice cream scoop asked what I wanted and when we told... them what we wanted she then started talking small talk to another employee. This went on for about another 2 minutes and thenshe finally looked at us and said what would you like. I told her I already told her what I wanted. Seems if you're going tohave kids working at an ice cream place, they should at least be respectful to the customers who are paying their wages. Read more

This is a review of the Baskin Robins in Westview Plaza in Frederick MD. I've loved their icecream since my first icecream cake... on my 5th birthday back in 1967. This experience was a supreme disappointment. The icecream was mislabeled, the employee was nothelpful in any way. When I asked any question, she would say "I don't know". I'm confused. When I was a first job employee, Iwas ALWAYS told, if I didn't know an answer to a customer question, you'd say "I don't know, but I will find out". Shameful! Read more

My family and I visited this location in the Westview Shopping Center in Frederick last night . I?ve been in many Baskin and... Robbins over the years beginning in Virginia in 1974 and have always enjoyed their ice cream . I have to say our visit tonightwas an exception to those positive experiences. First , many of the ice creams were missing labels and those that had labelswere incorrect . When asked , the server couldn?t identify the flavor . Were they not properly trained by management? The icecream was pretty soft and she couldn?t even give us a proper size scoop so we definitely didn?t feel we got our monies worth .On top of all this she didn?t even know what a cake cone or sprinkles were when requested. Again , it appeared to be a lack ofproper training . I like so many of the Baskin and Robins ice cream flavors and have previously enjoyed visiting their otherestablishments , but, tonight was a big disappointment. Would give 0 stars if possible. Ordered online personalized cake. Didn?t make. No record of cake. Gave me 2 cakes which I did... not want bc that is not what my family likes but there was a party at my house in 30 minutes. Talked to manager a couple of dayslater. Turns out Problem with email notifications. He gave me several excuses that I did not care about. I wanted a refund. Moreexcuses. Only concern was money and not customer satisfaction. Owner will not call back even after notified by corporate.(Manager snickered when I asked for owner ?he won?t talk to you?) turns out, that?s a correct statement. Poor customer service.Rude. Location is small, clean, decent amount of flavors, Rocky Road icecream was delicious.... young male Hispanic server was a bit... grumpy, seemed impatient & had an annoyed attitude. Read more

Great ice cream flavors, fairly clean location, polite & friendly staff. Experience was ok. Very much concerned with the... employee helping me (I ordered 2 scoops on a cone) because he didn't wear any gloves while handling my cone. I asked if hishands were clean, he said they were. but I'm very skeptical. I asked for new cone and for the employee to wear gloves...... thiswas the only issue. This comes down to proper training when handling foods for customers. Otherwise, nice location. Read more

EVERY.....SINGLE....TIME we go to this location there is an issue. At first we chalked it up to their location being new , but... now it's clear that there is no training and they simply dont know how to provide good service. I would blame it on the "kids"that work there but I believe that if you're going to have young adults run your business they should be properly trained andhave someone there to lead them to show them how to properly run a businesss. The issues we have encountered, to literally justname a few 1) I asked for a Lava cake Sunday and was told they don't make them, only for me to point out the sign to the staffperson. I was advised they didn't even have lava cakes. I went back 3 weeks in a row (we like B&R ice cream) and each time theydidn't have them. 2) I have watched staff talk on their phones while guests were being ignored 3) always out of product. (In ourvisits they have been out of lava cakes, brownies, spoons, hot finger and caramel). Tonight we arrived around 9:15 (they closeat 10) and the ice cream was covered. They offered to take our order anyway. I ordered my cone and a to go bowl for my son, theyfilled my order and covered all the ice cream back up and directed me to pay at the register before my husband could even speakhis order. He was so annoyed with constant issues that he decided he wasn't giving them anymore business and he didn't get hisice cream. They didn't have lids for my sons bowl, and there were no spoons out. I understand that you need to start the cleanup process before you close but it's beyond ridiculous at this location how often they don't have product. Read more
