Reviews for Firehouse Subs Shops At Monocacy in Frederick, MD
Great subs, a little slow, but everyone is due to staffing. Will go again!
I waited 45 minutes, and eventually had to leave without the turkey sandwich I paid for. A sandwich is a petty thing to review,... but all of my visits to this location have been absurd. Read more
Had the "large" sub with corned beef. It was a foot long for $13 dollars. A good sub but if you want an Italian sub or something... you can get at Subway it will cost about half that. The Firehouse sub probably will taste better than the one from Subway butmaybe not worth the extra money. Read more
Have been three times. They are never open at 10:30. Twice I went and the door was still locked around 10:40. The one time the... door was unlocked for service I got an attitude that I was too early. I asked you guys are open right, lady replied I guess weare now. I will never go back to this location and maybe none at all. Sad thing is I like the subs. not enough to bedisrespected though. I had to give them a star to post this. They dont deserve it. Read more

Where's the meat? An almost $15 meal and all I taste is bread. This place used to be awesome. I've noticed a steady decline in... the quality and value of the food. Corporate greed I guess. Read more
Not my first choice for a sub; family member insist this is the place for a hot sandwich. Personally, I just like my pastrami on... a grill not steamed. Anyhow, been a couple of times and never had an issue with customer service, order incorrect, slow serviceetc. The foyer area could be a little cleaner, but overall not a bad experience. Would return and recommend. Read more
First and last time here. Decided to try the other Firehouse location in Frederick, as the location by the movie theater is very... rude. This location is the same. Walked in and was the only customer in the store and 2 employees can't greet the only customer. The customer shouldn't have to interact first. If you don't like your job, there's people that would love an opportunity atenoloyment! I decided to try the New York Steamer, as I had a free birthday sandwich. If you do not know about their loyaltyprogram, you're almost SOL as nobody mentions it to you. Upon receiving my sandwich, it was soaked in Italian dressing, onlyallowing me to eat half the sandwich. Hours later, I was awoken with food poisoning. I will NEVER be back! I do not recommend. Read more
