Came here for lunch after a shopping excursion. I ordered the brisket meal with a side salad and fries. The fries were good, but... a tad too salty. Hubby had the 3 meat meal (brisket, pulled pork, and chicken). I liked the freshly brewed unsweetened andsweetened iced tea. It was sweet to see my cousin's picture on the wall with Gordon Ramsey. First I would like to tell you about the food. If you like BBQ your in for a treat. From turkey to brisket and back to chicken... all excellent. Tender tasty and your choice of sauce on table. Service was awesome give the order at the counter get your drinkshort wait they call your name. And all important the Frederick M.D restaurant I visited was clean. And I watched an employeeclean all the BBQ sauce bottles on tables I ask her she said this was done daily no exceptions. So if your have a hankering forsome good wholesome American Food. I got the 3 meat plate (it come with cornbread) and it got a side of fresh-cut fries. The fries are sold separate but TOTALLY... worth it! They have Old Bay there which was a huge bonus because I love smothering my fries in it. They ask you if you want thefattier or leaner beef brisket, I got the fatty and it was outstanding. The pulled pork was amazing too. The only reason Imgiving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they gave me older jalapeño/cheese sausage. It was a bit dry. After I took it home andmicrowaved it, the juices came back out it was really good though. They have 6 BBQ sauces and I loved them all. There was 3 inour party and we all loved our food. I didn't realize mission had opened in Frederick until today. I met my daughter there for lunch and was impressed from the... start. We were pleasantly greeted when we entered and everyone was super friendly. They brought our food to the table and gaveme a sample blueberry cobbler for free to try. The lady who looked after everything in the dining area checked in periodicallyand even gave us (brownies) an award for sticking around after to talk. I like the mission in Hagerstown but they are not closeto the level of service provided here. Food was great as always and I will definitely be returning again. Read more
Tried almost everything on the menu during my trip to Frederick. Small variety but fast and courteous. The brisket sandwich is... my favorite at this place. The I enjoy dining in when I have a chance, the place is well decorated with photos of everydayheroes and the distance between the table is very adequate for privacy so even when busy it?s still comfortable. Wow, people behind the counter were so helpful and nice. Both ladies I talked to were super nice and willing to assist. Food... was good and portions are fine. I would definitely recommend the lean brisket and fries. Read more
