PIGS is a fantastic option for a wedding caterer! At first my wife was skeptical of barbeque for our wedding however, PIGS... brings both highly professional staff and options that are more refined than a backyard BBQ. PIGS handled all our table setting,glassware, equipment rentals, including chairs, simplifying our vendor management! The hardest part about working with PIGS isselecting your menu! The meat, sides, and sauces are so good that its takes time to select your menu. All our food wasdelicious, we highly recommend the brisket and smoked chicken with the cold green beans, roasted potatoes, and seasonal salad.PIGS brings so much food that everyone is well fed and there were plenty of leftovers. At other weddings we?ve attended thereisn?t enough food and folks are hungry, this will not be the case with PIGS. We had multiple guests complimenting our dinner andcocktail food. The catering staff is dressed professionally and were on top of managing the food, glassware, and cocktail hour.One nice touch, the staff personally made sure my wife and I had plenty to eat (which we?ve heard is a common mistake). We didphotos between the cocktail hour and dinner and he made sure we had full plates of food upon returning to the reception.Finally, PIGS didn?t charge us for the tasting which was another nice benefit compared to other vendors. We chose PIGS BBQ for our wedding catering and it was such a great decision! Lisa was so responsive and helpful throughout the... entire process leading up to the big day. On our actual wedding day the PIGS team was professional and worked seamlessly withall of our other vendors. Owner?s brother greeted me and waited on me. He was friendly and gave outstanding service. I dined during the ?dead time?... between lunch and dinner and was leery of the food being fresh. Ordered the pork shoulder and the loaded potato salad. Such animpressive plate, served with Jalapeño corn bread, fresh-made pickles, etc. The pork was hot and juicy, not fatty. This was our first time trying PIGS. Overall not bad. We decided we would be willing to go back and try some other items. It is... HOT today and their A/C wasn?t working. We were sweating eating lunch. Not sure if this is a recurring problem. I was surprisedthey had a small craft beer list and we each found something we liked. I love fried green tomatoes. These were ok. They werecrisp and not soggy. I?m not a huge fan of corn meal so it was a little much for me. We ordered 10 wings. You can get them friedor grilled. My husband prefers fried and next time we will try them grilled. Wings were good. We got the old bay and hot pepperjam. They did not need ranch but the tomato ranch they served with them had a good flavor. I love cheese like love cheese. Thenachos were a little heavy on the cheese. It took away from the flavor profile of the toppings and especially the house madepickled onions. We chose to add pork to ours. I?d try them again with the brisket. The collard greens were good we agreed minewere better but maybe we are a little bias! Ribs we would not get again. I prefer a dry rub and no sauce. These were dry to thepoint they needed sauce. PIGS has high quality and thoughtful BBQ. I would say it?s traditional but not at the same time. Hence what I love about their... food. It?s not thrown together and the presentation and quality (full of fresh and robust ingredients full of flavors). Ienjoyed sitting at the bar. I had good views of the TVs with sports games and the bar had a great selection of beers and a greatcocktail list. The staff and owners are super friendly and awesome. Read more
