Surf House is a fantastic restaurant to go to for an array of different foods ranging from American to wonderfully unique... seafood dishes. I have been many times and the food is very consistent and the service is great! The servers are some of thenicest people, and the executive Chef Orlando puts his heart and soul into the dishes he makes to make sure they are toptear! There are so many dishes I love at this restaurant and I'll tell y'all about them! My personal favorite burrito on themenu is the shark bait! I've never had anything like it before and will continue to order it. There are some other greatoptions like the tsunami nachos with the chicken or the pork, whatever is your preference! This appetizer is a wonderful bangfor your buck. I love sharing it between friends! The grilled chicken sandwich is an item on the menu I had so many times andloved it every time! Perfect balance of spice without being over powering. The island tacos have a wonderful complexity offlavor, because of the mango salsa, the in house made sauces and the garnish that the tacos are topped with. My personalfavorite taco is the pork carnitas, perfect balance of salty, sweet, the nice corn flavor from the tortillas. I have tried thekey lime pie and the banana bread pudding both were fantastic! Truly came here by accident. I made a wrong turn and headed this way. Daughter heard of it and we went for it. Drinks were on... point, appetizers were nice and entrees were the bomb and our server Paige was the best. Thanks Paige Read more
Dined here twice with some coworkers, it was good. Vibe was chill and the decor tasteful. I don't think I ordered their best... dish, but the coconut shrimp was decent. But then again, it's hard to mess up deep fried food. Read more
Nice place. Interesting theme. Make sure to "scan the draft list". Would definitely stop in again. Driven by a lot of times...... Decided to give them a shot. The outside seating looks fun for warm evenings. The inside has some of the nicest staff youcould ever meet. The food ranges from good to great. The only negative... Not staggering orders having 2 bites at an App andyou food shows up is always an annoyance. Lava wings are more BBQ than HOT. But they are big and meaty. Calamari was a hit...But only got a bite or 2. My fish and chips was "pretty good". Breading was a bit closer to funnel cake and the strips weresmall and a little under cooked." Fish tacos were were scarfed down quickly. Key lime was also "something to come backfor". As stated before... Our server was exceptional. Never had to wonder here she was... I was somewhat disappointed with the menu and food selection of the Surf House Island Catina located in Urbana, Maryland. I... expected more seafood on the menu, but yet Feld it was more a Mexican style Katina with chips, salsa, and tacos. I?m sure it isa hopping place to be during the summer.
