Good food and the atmosphere and space is comforting and inviting. Outdoor seating is available too, so you can enjoy the creek... while you eat. Quite honestly I think the biscuits were my favorite. The Octopus Salad was a lot smaller than I thought it wouldbe, and the Hudson Valley Duck Breast was good but not filling. I really enjoyed the Wine Kitchen. We sat outside overlooking the canal. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food was... all excellent, simple but wonderfully prepared and presented. We also sampled flights of excellent whiskey. It more thandeserved its 3 stars. Read more

A nice dinner experience. The ambiance on the creek with outdoor seating was a pleasant surprise. The food was good. The salt... tubes were a fun option with entrees. My friends and I have enjoyed the food and atmosphere lot. However, Credit Card information was stolen out from this restaurant.... And started receiving unauthorized charges report from the bank. Restaurant need to update their Charging (nfc) systems intomore secure so eaters can enjoy more! I would have given 5 start if there was no cc fraud. ———- Since i can not reply tothe below message. My friend came from oversea and it was first time she was using her credit card in US at your restaurant andnext day, she was getting fraud alert from her bank that there were multiple charges made from NJ shopping centers. Once you find the entrance on the canal, everything is wonderful. This is certainly the best wine list with a steak house... restaurant in Frederick. The service is also exceptional. In addition to the delicious foods, one of our party needed ibuprofen,which the restaurant also had. Looking forward to returning the next time in Frederick. Read more

Excellent meal tonight. I've not been back to the The Wine Kitchen in Frederick MD in some time, and happy to see that they're... still running an excellent operation here. Service tonight was excellent, Nina was fantastic along with others on the team thatserviced our table. Cocktails from the bar were very good fun what I tried. Food rivaled the better quality restaurants thatI've eaten in Washington DC and other major cities, well sourced ingredients and prepared / plated well. I noted that there aspecial 3 course for $50 prix fixed option on certain nights and towards later in the evening. Options on the menu resonatedwith me, and took advantage tonight. I had a very good brunch experience today at The Wine Kitchen in Frederick. The customer service alone started off my experience... at a 5. My son and I started off with the cinnabon while waiting for our meals. The cinnabon didn't disappoint. I had thecornmeal pancakes, with a side of the maple bacon and eggs. I was nervous, but it was delicious! I'm a big cornbread lover, andthat's pretty much what I ate in pancake form. My son liked his french toast. I tasted it, and thought it was ok. Read more

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner for Valentines Day at the Wine Kitchen. Wide selection of tasty steak dinners to... choose from along with some great beer as well. We had a nice quiet booth with all the other customers "out of sight" so it wasnice. Highly recommend.
