Such a great little find off 87 right before you get into Fredericksburg! I had the crab cake benedict and a bloody mary both... were delicious. We went on a Sunday morning and there was already a line before they opened, but the service was great. Read more

Mixed thoughts. They were understaffed but worked hard. The food was good but not great. It was a good ways out of town but... mostly full. Probably not on my must do list and need to try more places to know if I would recommend over others. Read more

The decoration and history are interesting and fun to check out. The waitstaff are very friendly and attentive. They pass by... often but are not intrusive and know the menu items and are helpful with suggestions. If you come on a night with music, beaware that the volume is so very high one will not be able to hear any of one?s company; unless that is the idea- it will not bea nice night. Several of us left with headaches and sore throats. They had nice appetizers. The bread and feta cheese werereally good, but again the appetizers were a bit pricy for the quantity. The food was tasty and had some interesting menuitems. t was a bit overpriced for the quality, but definitely for the quantity. The burgers were small but good. Trufflefries were delicious. The stuffed peppers were also flavorful, however, the side was white rice which is part of the stuffingfor the pepper- they could have used a garlic mashed or even zucchini or other veggies in a nice butter and herbs. The outsideareas were open and offered a reprieve from the loud music. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Overall we enjoyed thefood, but didn?t find the experience earth shattering. The atmosphere and history are very interesting and eye-catching. The staff was friendly and prompt enough, given the busyness.... The food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. (My menu might be pre-inflation prices. It's been a couple months sinceour visit.) Read more

We went on our Honeymoon and let me just say - the best hole in the wall place!!! We got to have crab eggs Benedict that... literally melted, the Greek cheese appetizer that I am still craving, and the dessert was heavenly! The day we were there - theowner, Johnny (who was the original band member of Asleep of the Wheel)had a concert! That was such an amazing treat!!! If youare near, please do yourself a favor and stop in. The food is delish!! Read more
