Giving 5 stars because I don’t mind loud environments. Food was excellent and service was great. Rock music is played at a... fairly high volume so thusly guests are talking loud to hear themselves. The floor is hard wood not carpet so that makes it seemeven louder. Despite the sophistication of the menu, there were a lot of little kids (also loud) present during our visit. Ifyou don’t mind a rock concert atmosphere this place is great. If you’re looking for someplace quiet this isn’t it. Butagain, great food and service it’s just LOUD. Read more

Absolutely delicious dinner at Otto’s. We came in for an early dinner and were seated right away. My entree, the quail, was... well cooked and very tasty. The meal was filling and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. We had great service andwere always checked on. This is a great restaurant for a nice, fancier dinner that isn’t too formal. So this place is the best. My wife and I went and it changed my world. Words fail to describe how the food changed me. This... isn’t a joking review. I wonder what else in life I’ve missed out on. With tip my wife and I spent almost $200 and I don’tcare. Im from South Texas/Louisiana so I’ve had great food my whole life. But honestly the meal was life changing. The duckschnitzel and Antelope is what we had. The cheese cake destroyed me. I’m different leaving than arriving. Read more

Otto’s is amazing! Everything is very fresh and flavorful. I personally think that it is the best restaurant I have been to in... Fredericksburg and I can’t wait to go back. Our waiter ( I believe his name was John ) was very nice and had greatsuggestions. He was very knowledgeable of the menu. You pay for what you get, great quality food and service. Read more

Hands down some of the best German food I’ve had. It is elevated a bit so keep that in mind. The duck schnitzel was... unbelievable! You must try this! We got it with the duck egg on top. Every part of this dish was amazing. We also got the wurstplate. The best one in Fredericksburg for sure. Make a reservation, because this place gets full, and for good reason. Read more

5 stars all the way!!!!! I love how small the space is, with the open kitchen right next to where you're sitting! So of course... you need to make sure you have a reservation due to lack of tables! The menu itself is very straightforward, with less than 30menu items, you know for sure the quality control as well as freshness are there. Our server was a tad slow though, butoverall I was very impressed with everything we had to eat. The scallops were impeccably fresh, and paired nicely with thecelery root and lemon cream. For the main course I had the pork chop, and my wife had the duck schnitzel. Neitherdisappointed!!! Both proteins were cooked beautifully, and they even offer a fried duck egg to your dish for $4 more. The staffseems to be knowledgeable about their wine offerings, making it easy to select the perfect pairing with whatever you choose toeat. I would love to come back soon!!! 5 star food!!! Read more

For a place that is suppose to be nice, the service is terrible. The hostess and waitress were so snobby. We were seated... outside and the mosquitoes were terrible. I had to ask another waitress for big spray because our waitress didn’t come byvery often. We had our water refilled once and the whole entire time she was very standoffish. I figured she was having a badday but she seemed to have been much nicer and more attentive to the table next to us. She came by and refilled their waterseveral times without even looking over at our table. Made us feel like we didn’t belong. We spent nearly 100 bucks for twodishes and one beer. The pork chop was flavorful but a bit too sweet. The truffle mushroom pasta dish was pretty bland. I hadmore flavorful food cooking at home with those Hello Fresh packages. I can put up with one or the other but bad service ANDbad food, I’ll take my money somewhere else. Read more
