Great little winery! This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sangria and it was super... delicious. I also tried one of their brownies with the sea salt on top, also great. Fran was super friendly and welcoming. She kept conversation going with my husband and I. We will definitely be back! BEST PLACE ON THE MAIN STRIP WEST!! Popped in to start my self guided rosé tour but also ordered sangria on a whim (GET? the... sangria!!!). The rosé had super bright acidity, with apricot and orange zest on the pallet. Very yummy! Their weingarten hasplenty of outdoor seating that?s mostly shaded by many trees, a vintage cellar with a table (that?s a cute experience!Apparently this location is one of the oldest standing places in Fredericksburg!) And upstairs (street level) has some barseating. I wish we hadn?t come from lunch because I was very interested in their picnic basket! I guess I?ll have to go back! Read more
Wish we could of spent more time here. The patio setting was such a great experience. The different sitting areas also gave it a... personal touch!! We loved the sangrias ???? The reviews didn?t lie. The taste was awesome. You do have the option to purchase abottle of it in a glass container! The two gentleman who greeted us were very nice. I wish I would of gotten their names.Overall experience was amazing. Will come back for round 2! This is a kid friendly place. My kids were walking around andlooking at the setting. I would recommend bringing some sort of games to keep them entertained. We had two deck of cards that weenjoyed playing over a delicious cup of sangria!! The wine tasting was great as well. We didn?t get to try the food items as ourtime was cut short but we want to try it out next time and plan to spend more time there!! Read more
What a great winery/tasting room to visit! I found this location on Google based upon reviews and was not disappointed. We were... looking for a kid friendly winery and upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by the owner, he was hospitable and shared thehistory of the winery with us. We enjoyed our time and I enjoyed my tastings in the beautiful Weingarten. They kindly broughtover games to entertain the kids. The sangria was good and probably my favorite even amongst the tastings. I would definitelyrecommend stopping by for a visit. Read more
Hands down this is one of the best wineries I?ve ever been to. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were... comfortable. They were personable, and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic with lots of seating. The food was superband the wine was out of this world. Highly highly recommend you stop here! Read more
