This place is the only way to go when coming here! Spinach soup to start, a wonderful Texas Syrah, Veal Schnitzel w mushroom... gravy was the final decision however the menu special board like this it was hard to decide. And do not miss the peach breadpudding w Carmel sauce! A signature dish! Don?t look anywhere else this is your spot! Read more

We've been wanting to try this unique basement restaurant. I'm bummed to say, once and done for us personally. While it has a... unique history, the restaurant itself is lacking a bit in table service attentiveness, dish flavor, and ambiance. Nothing tocomplain about, but no real reason to be drawn back. Still glad to have visited. Another FBG restaurant tried out and checkedoff on our list. Read more

Great, casual spot. The food was really good, the service was excellent and they were one of the few places open past 8pm on... Sunday night. Lots of options on their menu so you?re sure to find something you?ll like. I would strongly recommend!! Read more

A group of 3 including myself went to lunch at Rathskeller. We found the restaurant in the basement to have a unique vibe along... with all German inspired dishes. Service was very fast & the food was warm and delicious. Read more

Great breakfast!!! My wife and I go to Fredericksburg every few weeks and always try new things! We were walking down the street... and ran into this Hospital/Morgue turned restaurant/bar!! We got there right when they opened, around 9am and were seated andserved right away! We got a carafe of mimosas. They certainly did not skimp on the champagne!! I think it was 80% champagne 20%OJ!!! I had the duck hash with poached eggs and my wife had an omelet!! My only gripe is that I seemed to not get anyhollandaise sauce!! I even showed our server, she went back to the kitchen and the chef said he put it on there!! I might notknow alot, but I think I know what hollandaise sauce looks like lol!!! I had to pay extra for more hollandaise!! Anyway, besidesthat, everything was great!! The bread they offer is awesome, reminiscent of my grandmother's bread I ate as a child. Overall, well worth it!! Will definitely come back!! Read more

The food wasn't too bad.....could have been better for the price but apparently this restaurant is in an old hospital morgue... and I thought that was so cool. The peach bellini and spinach dip were good. The lemon caper butter sauce in my fettuccinenoodles had no flavor. Read more

I thought the food was solid. I was surprised they didn?t have higher ratings. Definitely recommend the bacon wrapped filet, the... sausage plate is alright. But the cheddar mashed potato and green beans were phenomenal?like WOW. And the staff were cheerfuland kind despite being super busy Read more
