The Bistro downstairs has a jazz ambiance within a wine cellar with a side of French pastries. The food was delicious and... excellent service. We will definitely be back! In the store at ground level each display is a work of art. So many beautifulquality items from all over the world. I found several items that caught my eye, but the display in the window of the floatingcarousel was mesmerizing and delightful. We'll have to wait til next time to see the gallery upstairs. Read more
I am in love with this place. The duck was divine, and the tiramisu that I ordered was absolutely worth the drive. I had passed... by this place a few times, however, I thought that it was going to be a lot more expensive that it was. It is worth it, andeverything is priced fairly. That said, be careful in the gallery. You might end up accidentally end up spending too much moneyon the wonderful pieces that they have for sale!! If you’re ever in Fredericksburg, I recommend giving this play a try on aTuesday (for their duck plate). Read more
The burrata began the meal with a perfect complement of greens and olives. Pork belly tacos were smoky and incredibly flavorful-... not possible to eat as a taco though! Very romantic, intimate environment reminiscent of an old timey French cafe. Read more
A basement restaurant that's surrounded by all the old but modernized beautifully. I LOVED my Powerbowl -- so many great flavors... in one place. Lunch is a great time to get to experience Vaudeville. We got right in for a late lunch on a Thursday. Read more
My husband and I tried this place for my birthday last summer and we loved it! I should’ve left this review sooner. The... ambiance is amazing, as well as the food and service. We got the tuna appetizer which was delicious and I highly recommend thepesto pizza! It melted in my mouth. The portion for my husband’s fish was on the small side but that’s pretty standard atmost fancy restaurants. I would definitely eat here again the next time I’m in Fredericksburg. Read more
So so yummy!! I’m sure I would have been happy with almost every item on the menu, but I was incredibly pleased with my... cheesy, saucy pastrami Reuben. Sandwiches all include a fresh side salad, homemade potato chips, and a big tasty pickle half.The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Wish we had room to try the desserts, but the meal was plenty! We got the Reuben sandwich, which was delicious. They had a great wine selection. It was very busy (we waited 30 minutes... without reservation, which isn't too bad for a Saturday afternoon- there were people everywhere). It was noisy, and we had ahard time talking with each other. May go back again. Read more
