In a word: okra. Nobody gets it right, but these folks do! Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, not mushy. This was my... first time ordering here. My first impression was it's not "real" bbq... not off the grill or slathered in sauce. But you get toput your preferred type and amount of sauce on, so I appreciate that. I'm highly disappointed with the customer service experience during my most recent visit to this restaurant. If I could give a... no-star rating, I would. To be quite honest, my mother had received better in the past but we deserved much better than what wasprovided. The manager on duty, Friday, June 30, 2022 at 2 pm failed to perform to the best of his knowledge, skills andabilities. While my mother and I were there, he was reluctant to fulfill a simple request for an order to cater to 8 people. Idon't understand the reason because the menu has various options "to feed up to 10 people" clearly indicated. Nevertheless, themanager denied that these reflected updated information. Then, he prompted us to contact the owner for a different replynumerous times. Therefore, we have chosen to not return to this location anymore. Please resolve the issue immediately. It was good, but not great. I prefer Shawn's BBQ in Fredericksburg. The potato salad tasted like it was bought from a grocery... store and the beans weren't completely done, some were soft and some crunchy(?)- grocery store beans would have been animprovement. The ribs were overcooked, chewy and really dry. The pulled pork was very good, as was the sauce, roll and coleslaw. Read more

Went into Dickey's and found that place quaint and cozy but the floor felt little sticky.
