I come here for their vindaloo curry prepared with salmon. It is always expertly prepared to the spice level I love. My... husband often tries new dishes at each visit experimenting with the vast selection of dishes they offer. He enjoys them, andtasting them myself, each is distinct and very true to their names. We frequent this location as the best stop for curry in thearea. Authentic, fresh, and worth the visit. Read more

Very nice service, great atmosphere, even better food. Just an FYI: mild spice is more like American medium! The food was... well-priced for both the quality and quantity. Would highly recommend! Read more

We are regulars to Guru! There are many vegetarian options but all the dishes are fabulous. We would also recommend the butter... chicken, vegetable samosas, and the garlic naan. The staff is polite and attentive. The dining room is well lit and is very niceinside. Read more

Sorry to say this restaurant failed my #1 basic test for service. The never returned to our table to ask how our meal was or... ask if we needed anything. Plus, they brought the check without asking if we wanted anything else - like dessert. The foodlacked authentic India spice and flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tough. My vidaloo looked and tasted like tomato soupwith some chicken and potatoes thrown in. To add insult to injury, they add a "Non Cash Adjustment" additional charge when youpay with a credit card. They said it is normal practice. I don't think so. Who uses cash anymore? We will not go back. Read more

Update: Here several times since the last reciew. As always, food is D-Lish...just fantastic. Service was friendly and... timely. Excellent...food was just fantastic, as was the service. We started with several different Naans, Murg Tikka and anAssorted Platter....all very hot, fresh and delicious, and a few cocktails (they have a full bar, and enjoyed several of theApple Tinis). Entrées were also hot and prompt. Some of our selections were Rogan Josh (mine and it was delish), ButterChicken, and Chicken Jalrfrezi (they mixed this up and served lamb, but it was still great). The ONLY thing I'd change, would befresher hot rice...but, def not that big of an issue, considering that the dishes were very fresh and hot. Read more

Ordered takeout so can?t comment on the service. The inside looks nice and the guy who helped me with the takeout order was... friendly. The food, something was just missing. The flavors were all a little bland. The tandoori chicken pieces whereprobably too big. I know, you?re thinking ?Who complains about the meat being too big?? The problem is the flavor just didn?tpermeate the meat adding to the lack of robust Indian flavors. The tikka masala same, just plain. The rice was cooked well andtasted great. Read more
