I was surprised I never noticed this place. The food was good and atmosphere was great. There was a separate side of the place... for the bar where you could smoke. There was a stage for live bands. We actually found this restaurant accidentally while on vacation. There are 2 sides, one smoking and one non-smoking, although... the one side is glassed enclosed, the smell still permeates to the non side, the only downside. The food was fresh, tastedgreat, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating with food allergies I have, both soy and gluten. Price drinks are good but food is just ok. Also the waitresses are hit or miss. I only go on Saturday nights but my friends and... I definitely avoid certain waitresses. They are rude and slow to come and check on you but then get mad when you order straightfrom the bar. They seem to be more worried about flirting with security guards then actually waiting on their tables. The crowdis hit or miss as well. Food has gone way downhill, service was mediocre, the place was run down and filthy dirty! I have been coming to this restaurant... since they opened and I'm one of the original "Bill's Backers" Hardtimes use to have one of the best NY strip steaks in town,always cooked to perfection, with a nice fresh baked hot potato. Fresh crisp cold salads, and, or fresh hot veggies. Food wasalways hot food hot and cold food cold with aggressive friendly service from the staff and Manager's. But anymore, what adisappointment!
