Seemed to be a popular place for lunch. Found this when scoping out food options before a day in Fredericksburg. It was a good... find! Food was really good. Service was prompt & efficient. This place is a bit iconic in Old Town Fredericksburg as a small kitchen with super tasty, delicious tacos. It is consistently... terrific and a great little place to stop in for lunch. We usually carry out for a picnic in a local park. That?s what we didtoday after biking in from Stafford?s Saint Clair Brooks Memorial Park on the bike path, crossing the Chatham bridge and hittingthe historic downtown. It was ?Taco Tuesday?, so even better! We ate our tacos on a picnic table overlooking the Rappahannockriver at Old Mill Park so that we could enjoy the sunshine and toss a frisbee. These are 100% the best tacos I ever had! We got the fried plantains with crema fresca, chorizo tacos, birria tacos, and tres... leches for dessert. This place is exactly what we were craving and the birria tacos were outstanding. The service was quick andfriendly. This place can get busy fast so we make a point of showing up early. A great local spot in Downtown Fredericksburg serving hot, fresh Mexican and Latin American food. We've been several times and... then we ask why we waited so long in between visits. We started with the Tamales de Elote which is this absolutely delicioushot corn mashed in a tamale served with cream sauce. It's salty, sweet, hot and perfect. Today was Pupusa Day and I tried threeof them, cheese, cheese and refried beans and spinach and cheese. All were super filling and served with slaw and sauce on theside. They have a lot of great vegetarian options here. My boyfriend had steak tacos and a chicken taco, all looked very freshand stacked with lettuce and pico. We were both filled to the gills and for under $35 for both of us, including tip, felt likea good value. Read more
