Loved the deep fried mushrooms, also loved the real traditional Greek Salad without lettuce. I would like to find a restaurant... that can prepare lime fries. I had them in Africa prepared by an Indian Chef....so good. I will be back. Read more

We were passing by on vacation and tried this restaurant. The food was horrible not authentic Greek at all. The only good plate... was the hummus and salad. Waste of money. Also we looked and the kitchen was dirty. We could see the dirt on the wall from ourtable. The glasses they brought for water was dirty. Horrible for a downtown restaurant. Read more

dimitri's is one of my favourite restaurants and i often order out, and rarely sit in for service. i went this afternoon around... 3:30 to dine in. the dining room was entirely empty, and somehow only saw our waitress maybe two or three times during thecourse of our meal. at one point we had to go up to the main counter to get her as they didn't serve me the correct meal. iordered the super vegetarian pita dinner plate. the waitress brought me a dinner plate with two chicken kabobs at first. shealso didn't bring me the pita bread (as well as the garlic bread my friend ordered) or tzatziki which comes with the dinnerplate. she argued with me that the side of tzatziki doesn't come with the vegetarian pita because it's inside the pita? to myrecollection every time i've ordered it for pick up, it's come with it. it's also written on the menu that a dinner plate is"Served with Deluxe Greek Salad, Tzatziki, Choice of Rice, French Fries or Greek Potatoes, and Pita or Garlic Bread." not tomention the greek salad was soaked in salad dressing to the point it pooled in the bottom of the bowl. very disappointing,especially for a slow afternoon. Stopped for supper with my wife here last night. If you make a reservation, I would ask for the back room - can get a bit drafty... near the main doors. We ordered from the Dine Around Freddy menu and started off with the Kalamari and Deep Fried Mushrooms.They came with pita bread and tzatziki sauce. These were delicious - seriously some of the best around town. Our main meals wereChicken Souvlaki and Pork Souvlaki. The meals were overall very good, but the meat skewers were a bit overdone. Such a great place. The food is so fresh and completely unique compared to what you usually find around the city. Everytime I go... I get out of there satisfied. I'm.not vegetarian but their super vegetarian pita is simply spectacular. Although I ask them toreplace their tzatziki sauce with Hummus, because their hummus is divine, fresh, garlicky and their pita break srems to behomemade. Awesome place. Read more
Donair meat was precooked then reheated and dried out.French fries were reheated too. I come from the French fry community ,I... know when fries are reheated. Other meal had the same reheated fries,and the chicken kabob had no flavor and dry with the piecesbeing a lot smaller then before. We been a customer for 30 plus year . This was probably our worst dining ever ,we had littleissues before but not to this extent. If this was our first time at the restaurant we would definitely not come back . We hopethis was just a bad night in the kitchen. Strike one. Hopefully next one is better experience. Read more
