To be fair, I came in during happy hour, so the wings were discounted.....however, the meat was not how I expect my wings to be.... Not sure if they got freezer burn or a slightly different cook, but was not thrilled with them. The Cajun fries has verylittle seasoning, but the Texas dip had like an inch of meat on it and the beer selection was rather decent, especially where itcame to seasonal beers. Staff was great and overall everything looked clean, so I will return when in Freehold. Read more
Stopped in and got seated right away and that was the highlight of the meal. Lots of servers on, but it still took a good 7-10... mins to get greeted. Food came fast and with grill marks too perfect on the chicken- assuming pre-made via a Foodservicecompany? I couldn?t figure out what was wrong with the house made chips, they were crispy but somehow stale? It was almost asif they were refried or the oil wasn?t hot enough. The blackened grouper sandwich was oddly served with thousand island dressing. The ?open? kitchen made it easy to see the guys just assembling the food and they were having more of a date nightchatting than cooking? Also tried the raving reviewed wings and they were just okay, nothing I?d be craving to return for. Thebest part was the staff- everyone was walking around stone faced and miserable, no personality in the bar or in the people thatwork there.. this place seems like it?s screaming for a bar rescue episode. Unfriendly dog policy is so behind the times. Texas, California they welcome pets and bring water. I was actually told not to... give my dog water. Really, people? And your $17 plate of calamari is worse than Dollar store frozen food. Not to mention theattitude of the host who watched me in my small dog the entire time I was eating I can't really say enough about how bad thisexperience was on just a nice Friday afternoon. We ate there for lunch. We sat outside in a lovely shady spot. The atmosphere was lovely. We both ordered chicken club wraps... which came with potato chips. The food was fine, but I was impressed with the service. A female server took our order, broughtus our drinks and gave us the check. When she brought the check, she sort of apologized for not paying attention to us. Herapology confused me because there was, other staff that brought us our meals, and other staff that regularly checked in on us.The service was fantastic and deserves 5 stars. Read more
Ordered take out tonight. Waffle fries, 2 basic salads, mozzarella sticks, 1/2 rack of ribs and a burger. Paid $62 and the food... was just not good. The basic jester salad was the highlight. Fries were hard and cold, burger was plain and lack seasoning. Iasked for jalapeños but they were left off. The mozz sticks were rubbery and overly salty. The ribs, pictured here, were justawful. It was hard to believe these were actually served. Really disappointed, ended up throwing much away and will not go back.When I ordered they told me 30 mins, I was there at 28 mins and the food was done and clearly was sitting there for sometime.The restaurant was not crowded. Really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is just perfect and the manager seems very nice. We were happy because we went... midafternoon and they weren't busy at all. He actually let us pIck wherever we wanted to sit. Unfortunately our server washorrible. My partner got up 3 separate times to find her so she could wait on us as well as get our bill and pay for it.Eventually another waiter stepped in to help us pay so we could head out. The food was very greasy as well. For the prices theyhave I thought it would have been a little better quality. Read more
