Thought this place was very very good all around, solid 4 stars all around. Food was amazing, had Blackened Mahi and Al Pastor... tacos and Chicken Floutas. The Floutas were absolutely amazing, the cream cheese and the jelly were both awesome. The Al Pastortacos were very very good and the sauce was perfect. Had a couple tough pieces of pork that interrupted my enjoyment, but ithappens. The Mahi, while I understand is blackened, just tasted a bit on the dryer side. I ALWYS enjoy a good blackened fish,but maybe it was just a one off experience here. I would absolutely go back and even try them again. We had the Prickly PearMargarita and was kind of disappointed there was no salt, as advertised. Desert was Oreo Fried Ice Cream and it was the perfectdesert for the visit, HIGHLY recommended! Service I gave 4 stars because while I wasn't busy at all when we got there (justbefore 5pm), the wait staff still seemed like they were too busy and we had to ask a few times for just a glass ofwater. Atmosphere was nice where we sat, but it was in the bar area to the left of the hostess and the baseball game was tooloud, and I could care less about what's on TV while I'm trying to eat. Also was distracted by the number of other people hadtheir cellphone lights on because they couldn't see the menus. I didn't think it was that dark, but not every table has its ownlight, so it was distracting. Overall, I'd absolutely go back and ask to be seated elsewhere and probably love the experienceeven more! Price with appetizers, drinks, meals, and desserts was VERY reasonable. Read more

Waitress was excellent but the food was really bad and the drinks were absolutely horrible.. great waitress but horrible... bartender and bad food... food is probably a 2 or 3 star but the one star is for the bartender. Maybe she is just new andlearning. If that's the case then with the proper training I'm sure oneday she will be amazing. Read more

Mediocre food, poor service! It took a while just to get a waiter to order food! A different waiter brought out our food and... gave mine to the next table. Then tried to serve me the food after he put it in front of someone else at the next table. Ididn’t get to eat with my family as I had to wait for the kitchen to make another dinner for me. My food was very bland andthe margaritas were watered down. This once good restaurant has really gone down hill in the last few years and it’s a shame. My family and I are taking this place off of our list of restaurants to frequent and won’t come back for a long time, ifever. Very disappointed :( Read more

I hadn't been here in quite some time, probably over 10 years. A friend and I visited for happy hour. Sangria was great! So were... the margaritas! I had empanadas and tostadas. I am a tough critic when it comes to Mexican food. I'll start saying that the place looks great but far from authentic. To my... surprise, food was better than expected, except for the entrée. Drinks: Frozen Margaritas. 4/5 Appetizers Guacamole Greattexture. Good onion-avocado ratio with the right amount of lemon. Nice kick when it comes to spiciness but not too spicy. Asolid 4.5/5 Tortilla soup Probably my favorite. Tomato based, cilantro, tortilla chips and chicken. It might not be an authentictortilla soup but the flavor was great. A solid 4.5/5 Entrée: steak fajitas I was craving for a Carne asada the whole time andthe closest option on the menu were the fajitas. The looks were awesome, steak fajita cuts over a roasted onion bed with roastedred peppers. The onions were a very nice touch but the beef was overcooked and tough to chew. Perhaps the biggest mistake was toinclude flour tortillas. Homemade corn tortillas is the only possible way to enjoy a good fajita taco. The disappointment of thenight with a 2.5/5 Also, cinco de Mayo is not really a big thing in Mexico, and decorations made the restaurant lookcartoonish. Read more
