Had an incredible night last night celebrating a life event at La Cipollina. I got there early to set up and asked to change... everything from the settings to the table placement. The servers Immediately began trying to accommodate whatever we wereasking. The decorations we brought didn't fit on the table and without hesitation the waiter began to remove certain parts ofthe settings and redoing the placements so that everything would fit. I was incredibly impressed with that move! I had someguests who had never tried the restaurant and they were raving about it. I was so pleased with how elegant and classyeverything looked. The wait Staff was so attentive all night, cheery and available.The food was amazing as always. Of the 50 orso gusts, 2 were gluten free, 1 has celiacs, 1, is a vegan and one a vegetarian; without question every request was accommodated. This was the first time I dined at La Cipollina; it certainly won't be the last. What a wonderful, delicious experience! Let's... start with our greeting at the door: welcoming and warm. We were seated immediately and attended by our amazing waiter, Jared.The menu is extensive with something to please every palate, including Italian dishes, meats, fish, and specials. The atmosphereis relaxing, with tables inside as well as outdoor dining. The owners Anthony and Heather made us feel like family and theentire staff was super attentive and worked hard to make our dining experience memorable. From Bread w/ spread , to the apps and meal this place is a home run. Located in the heart of downtown Freehold you will not be... disappointed. A legendary place which was a place for the STAR'S & Many GANGSTERS. Frank Sinatra and many others patronizedthis place LEGENDARY PLACE. Service is exceptional and is a BYOB. They do have a selection of local wine that are prettygood. Pricing is reasonable and the place is accommodating. We started with the calamari & eggplant appetizers which were bothdelicious. We all went with special having the Salmon and the pork chop. Both were above average. This place is a long time favorite. Make sure u call for reservations as sometimes can be busy. I had my Daughter’s Christening in 2008 at La Cipollina and just celebrated my other daughter’s college graduation on 7/23-... had 68 people In the back room -everything was AMAZING!!! Food was delicious (all my family and friends said how good it was)Atmosphere is so inviting. Frank and the staff were outstanding!. Service was impeccable. The compliments go on and on! Last night my husband and a few friends of ours decided to go out for a late dinner and stumbled upon La Cipollina in... Freehold. We thought we were just going in for a casual quick dinner but this turned out to be one of the best diningexperiences I’ve ever had in my life. Aside from them having amazing, authentic Italian food, the service and staff were justincredible. We met the owner of the restaurant, Anthony, and he and his entire staff treated us like family. We sampled a largeportion of their menu and everything was to die for. If you haven’t already been to this gem and are looking for a new spotto try, I can’t recommend them enough. Took my wife and daughter here tonight and I was blown away. Great ambiance, delicious food and an attentive and respectful... staff. I had the New York Strip which was a generous portion with broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes. The place was busy but thewaiters and servers kept tabs on our needs and I was impressed. I will be coming back real soon with my parents so they have thesame great experience that we did tonight. A+ and 5 Stars!! Read more
My wife showed me a photo of their pasta the night before, and it looks attractive. We decided to go next day for dinner. The... realized qualify is much more impressive than the photo. I threw a private party over the weekend in the back room. From beginning to end everything was amazing. The room was spacious... and beautiful. The food was unforgettable. We had Ben taking care of us that day and he truly is a gem. Always available when Ineeded him or had any questions. So sweet and super attentive.
