I used to work for a sushi and hibachi place for years, so I do not write this lightly. I love this place. The sushi is uniform... and has the perfect ratio to rice. The service is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Read more

Twice we tried this place, both times they said an hour and half even though we called and the lady said 8pm will be fine.... That?s not even the issue. So the second time we decide to wait, a party of four was ahead of us that was supposedly gettingthe vacant table. They were still waiting on one. We asked if we could sit by the bar then, boss lady says the chef doesn?t likepeople there when its busy cause he doesn?t want to chat. We said we are not the chatty types, still no. Fine. Meanwhile therewas a single diner there (one would think a solo diner would be more chatty w chef than a party of four). The party of fourahead of us ends up leaving (friend doesnt show), so we ask the boss lady can we take the vacant table. She then tells us nomore rice!!!! Seriously?!? 7:40pm, Saturday night. If we were waiting for an hour and then she says no rice, sorry. I seriouslywould?ve cursed her out. Regardless that?s got to be the most ridiculous thing ever. In all seriousness, don?t know how theycan run a business this way. Karma will eventually catch up. Just need to let people know what to expect, we definitely willnever even attempt to patron this place again. ?? Read more

Great service from the door. And the decor is very chic and quaint. And the food is very fresh. And the best thing I like is... that their sushi rice isn't as sweet as Nagoya or asian harbor. I had when places out sugar in rice they don't do that in Japan. But this place does it right. Read more

Baby Clams, Tempura appetizer, Fried Oysters. Yum yum. Jan 9,2022 and we are still doing the take out thing. It?s Ground Hog Day?. Food is the best as ever. Kazu San and Miyumi San aretaking the orders and getting them ready for pickup. If you calling in start as early as 4pm for a 5-5:30pm pickup. Please doyour part and go in there WITH A MASK. Last thing we need is for them to get sick. People will not know what they miss tillthey can?t get it. Get the tuna carpaccio salad or the salmon carpaccio salad. Nice and light! Another fav is the White TunaAvocado Miso salad! (I believe it has peanut butter for those w/ nut allergies) just confirm. As of June 13, 2021 Kazu is stillTAKE OUT only. They are not offering sit down yet so don?t ask. I?m sure when they are ready they will let their clientsknow. Same good eats but take out and it?s just as good! Read more

Excellent sushi and sashimi. Better than Manhattan and just as good as what I used to eat when I lived in Japan. The owners are... wonderful people who make you feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended! Read more
