I couldn’t recommend The Wagner House more for anyone looking at an event venue! We just had our wedding ceremony and... reception there and the day was absolutely amazing! Savannah is the event coordinator and went above and beyond, she is so easyto work with and we were extremely lucky to have her with us. Justice, Nick and Tara were our bartenders and they were ahighlight of our reception. I would have regretted going with any other venue. Read more

The building is breathtakingly beautiful. The atmosphere is inviting for all. The menu has a variety of entrees that sounded... delicious; making it hard to decide on just one. I will be back very soon to try something new on the menu. Love it! Read more
I love the whole atmosphere! Truly one of not many gems in Freeport, IL. Good food. Reasonably priced. Live music!
Amazing dinner for two. We started with their signature cocktails and mushroom appetizer which were delicious. I ordered a cup... of soup, which kay be the best souped I've ever eaten. We then had two different fish dishes for our main course and they wereboth great. I look forward to coming back again soon to try more cocktails and the burger. Read more
We've heard how great the food and atmosphere is here, but for whatever reason we just hadn't made it yet. Well.... it lives up... to the hype and great reviews. We had a dinner at lunch kinda visit and the food was delicious Pretzel Crusted Grouper andScallops were equally good! Great to see old buildings repurposed, alot of history in them.
