Reviews for Derosier's in Freeport, ME
I ordered a large ham toastey. Simply wanted no tomatoes on half if the sandwich. They said they can't do that and they have... to charge me for two sandwiches. Being a business owner that's just bad business practice. Your using less ingredients but yetwant to take advantage of a loyal customer of over 30 years just to charge me more. Read more
Delicious hot sandwiches and salads! ???? We had a Buffalo Chicken Salad with ranch sauce and a Steak & Cheese sandwich... ???? ???? Interesting story: Was founded by A. Derosier in 1904, from Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec!! Read more
I give this place 5 stars because we were passing through Freeport and looking for a place to have lunch, taking into account... our 8 year old son's severe dairy allergy. The staff at Derosier's were very welcoming, and had vegan cheese on hand to make adairy free pizza. They confirmed the ingredients for the crust to make sure there was no dairy and they cleaned a new pizza panto prevent contamination from melted cheese from a previous pizza. On top of that, my son said the pizza was delicious. Thanks! Read more

This place has all the makings of a quintessential locals spot, but the biggest obstacle preventing that is they have bratty... children working there who find scooping ice cream to be the worlds most difficult job. The dweeb who was struggling to managethe few customers in line for ice cream was so flustered that he couldn?t muster up the slightest bit of customer service orprofessionalism when asked a simple question. He then went and complained about how hard his life was to the other toddlersworking there, right in front of other customers. When I called him out for acting like a baby, he ran off pouting in the cornerwhile his sad excuse for a manager gave every excuse under the sun justifying their employee?s behavior. I can?t imagine whatlife is going to be like for these kids when they actually have to get real jobs, jobs that require they count higher thantwenty so they can?t use their fingers and toes. This shop may have been great under the previous five or six generations ofownership but sadly this generation that currently runs it is going to run it into the ground. Read more
