I got a Dagwood sandwich and a double cheeseburger both with fries and ranch. The menu says that would cost me 16$ but they... charged me 27$, I paid anyway expecting the food to be worth that much. My error there. The bread was soggy, fries were cold,they gave us ketchup instead of ranch, they cut the sandwich in half but one half was huge and the other half was tiny, won?tever go there again and I?m a local. Great off the beaten path diner. The waitress was very nice, just complained about working and acted like she didn't want to... work. The hours seem to be what they make them, they placed a paper on the front door as to when they closed the diner. Read more

We love this place. We have been coming here for about 4 years. The food is excellent. Best burgers, outstanding fish, and... spectacular omelettes. Haven?t found anything on the menu that we haven?t liked. We love the local, small town feel. Oh, andlove the simple things like grilled cheese and chili. You can always get a side of potato chips, if you like. Don?t get mestarted on the malts! Hand dipped and served with the big silver container it was blended in containing the extra that didn?tfit into the glass. Mr. Smelker and his mom, Nadine, make the place feel like home. Read more
Great little dinner, friendly staff. It's a small town setting where the staff and even other customers are interested in who... you are, and what do where you come from.The food was a good, with a nice portion for the price. Great little diner in the middle of nowhere. Fun staff, great food, very homey. Nice place to eat after we went to the zoo.
