Food is seasoned well. The slow cooked ribs are done correctly. Moist and flavorful. Not enough BBQ sauce on the ribs though.... The greens and Mac & cheese are prepared well too. Southern style. This is not a business place. This is a friendship place. If you don't know the workers don't go. We sit here for basically 45... mins- 1 hr waiting for our food, not one person asked if you wanted more drinks. Plus come came sorry to say, pork ribs saltedand other pork was fresh, like it was raw. At the end of the night most of our food ended in the garbage. Praying they get ittogether. I'm have employees too, and if my employees service my company like this... Would be disappointed. Read more

Ordered takeout from here last Saturday for the first time. My grandson wanted to pick up the food with me but then wanted me... to carry him. The gentleman could see it would be difficult to carry the heavy bag of food and him so he walked the food to mycar in the lot. I couldn't believe it. So kind of him. Not used to that on Long Island. Everything we ordered was great. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket even the burger was top notch. The baked beans were the best I've had out. The ground pork or beefin them (not sure which) brought it to another level. I will be back for sure. Read more
I came here for a bday brunch on a Sunday, food was great, service was good. This is a black owned establishment and I love the... food and culture it represents. Try the lemon pepper wings OMG crispy like Korean fried chicken and seasoned so well. Also hadthe salmon and grits from the brunch menu. Salmon cooked to perfection. Some other dishes my family had was the shrimp and grits(so yummy) and the steak and eggs. On Sundays there's a selected menu for brunch. They play great music and unlimited mimosaspecials. I've also been here to try the regular bbq menu items one friday.. drinks were great and everything we tried was alsoamazing (buffalo fried shrimp, rack of ribs, more wings, empanadas) highly recommend if you're on the mile or in long island ingeneral looking for some good bbq food which is a rare offering in long island.
