This is a very nice diner in Freeport, LI. The staff is very friendly and once you are settled into a table....a waiter appears... ready to take your order. The menu is very robust and the food is very good. It is a great place for a family get together oreven a quick business lunch. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. My appetizer was the baked clams which normally I do not like if it does not have the whole clam however this had chunk clam in... it and it was quite tasty. I ordered the grilled salmon with sauteed spinach the salmon is cooked to perfection and it's reallygood didn't have to add any seasonings it is actually done perfectly. The thai chicken salad was pretty good, more soggy than I would like but would probably get it again. My friend got the burger,... he said it was good. Two other friends got paninis and said they were amazing. However the chicken and waffles was less thanaverage. Read more
We had a great evening in this Diner, had lots of food and drinks options, we went for chicken salad and buffalo chicken wrap... with champagne cocktail and Cosmo. Staff were very friendly and helpful ???? Even took a picture of us. I would highly recommendthis place great atmosphere with music and sports on lots of screens. The desserts are incredible and would go back again forone of those and plenty of ice cream choice too. Free parking on site which is always a bonus and nice booths to sit in. Like adiner should be. Service and quality were fine. Our waiter was attentive and friendly without being annoying. I ordered the farmers omelette.... This had bacon,ham and sausage mixed with egg. The home fries were very fresh on their onions and peppers. All on all a goodmeal. My only complaint would be the sticker shock. Glad we don't visit Long Island too often. Read more
