Reviews for Cafe Mei ??? in Fremont, CA
Food was great and reasonable prices! Quite a few vegetarian options. I had the taro and veggie sung sandwich and it was very... good! I was very surprised at how refreshing the taro made the sandwich taste. Writing this review is making me crave italready. Also tried the egg sandwich and it was quite tasty. Easy to order up front on monitor screen and then pay ahead oftime. Can sit anywhere you want and you grab utensils on the side. You can also order to go and there is a stand on the side forpick up orders. Would definitely come again! So happy my friend introduced me to this place! Parking is good as it is as thepacific commons side and there?s usually plenty of parking. Read more
Loved the place. It is small and with few stuff on menu. The taste was great I wouldn?t mind going there again. The sandwiches... are pretty popular item there I ended up getting noodles and tuna crepe. Awesome for breakfast Read more
The Taiwanese pancakes were on the blander side, only lightly salted, but I liked how simple it was and would order this again.... The sauce it came with has some minced garlic mixed into it, which I personally didn?t think complemented the pancake well. TheBlack Pepper Teppan Noodles were a little disappointing, it tasted like regularly boiled pasta rather than one cooked on ateppan metal plate. Read more
It?s the Taiwanese breakfast! Honestly, a lot of Taiwanese street food are available in this whole wide world, but there is one... thing! Just one thing that I still couldn?t fulfill is the breakfast. This place is literally what I had back home and it?squite authentic. Really loved the milk tea, sandwich and the egg pancake. Recommend with my whole heart! Read more

It?s good, like the breakfast shop in Taiwan. Just worry about the operation because they seem not too much customers but so... many employees. They were leisurely making dishes with chatting. However, I will still go for it when I miss Taiwanesefood.???????? Read more
Super excited to try this place since I love the breakfast sandwiches in Taiwan which are so simple but absolutely... delicious Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - missed our order of Original Taiwanese Pancake (TW Crepe w/ egg) even though we reminded himto add this again when he read the order back to us :((( Togo House Special Sandwich (ham, egg, and cucumber) and TogoSignature Sandwich (pork, ham, egg, and cucumber) 5/5 - are pretty yummy overall. The bread seems like a milk bread that is softand fluffy with a slight sweetness to it. Fairly conservative with the mayonnaise and cucumber. The pork is very flavorfulcompared to everything else so it seems overly salty in comparison Daikon (Turnip) Cake 3/5 - is not fried as much as we wouldlike and it's a tiny portion. Appreciate that the pieces were cut into bite sized and could actually be dipped into the saucecontainer Black Pepper Teppan Noodle 1/5 - was over cooked. Sauce was nice but the texture of the noodles ruined the overalldish for us. Not sure if it's because we ordered to go but definitely recommend avoiding this dish Milk Tea with quarter sugaris good. You can taste the tea more but my sister says it tastes really water down because it's not sweet Ambience: N/A -ordered food to go. Crazy plaza for parking and the shop was super busy Service: N/A - attempted to order online through ourphone but it had an error on checkout process. Then tried to order online from a computer and when checking out, it says thatthe online order option is closed. So called in our order through the phone. Not sure if language issue but he had a littledifficulty understanding or hearing us Value for price: 3/5 - only get the sandwiches and avoid everything else! There seemsto be slightly different names for these dishes online vs in the store so not sure if that's causing some confusion too. Daikonvs turnip cake. Taiwanese pancake vs crepe Read more
