My husband and I have been here several times now because this place is exactly what it says on the tin?it?s an excellent... classic diner. They have perfectly golden hash browns (which is my primary requirement for repeat diner visits), real butter onsourdough toast, omelettes generously filled with veggies (great for vegetarians), and quick service. The one time they got myorder wrong, the error was corrected incredibly quickly (within just a few minutes, I had a new omelette that was exactly whatI?d ordered). They even have delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and good selections of Smuckers jam (including blackberryjam and orange marmalade) and hot sauces. Read more

Based this visit on the pictures of food so expectations were high and fortunately they were surpassed. Had my first huevos... rancheros which was on point and by far the best breakfast burrito I've ever had and my wife, enjoyed her fluffy huge pancakes. The awesome flavors made us go back a second time. Considering I spent more than 70 bucks at the hotel breakfast this was muchmore reasonable around 45 bucks for the two of us. Read more

I've tried most bfast spots in the area and this one ranks on top. Nice selection and combos with decent portions, including... mexican breakfast and homemade salsa. I prefer their homefries, sausage type, and pancake/french toast style to most otherplaces. The potatoes are thin round cut, the sausage is plump and light with good quality pork, and the pancakes are neat andthin(ish) with good sweet/vanilla flavor. I like thinner pancakes and less sour, but these are personal prefferences. Havent hadwaffles too many times, but theyre ok from what I remember, not the nasty thick soft fluffy style, which is great. I've had afew issues though, like food over salted a couple of times and getting old expired packaged syrup once. Usually good though, staff is friendly and the owner is a nice lady. Read more

I haven't been to the Diner since pre-pandemic. It's my tried and true for Fremont dining, when I want a consistently great meal... and great service. I had a classic eggs Benedict, and my husband had an omelet. The meal was amazing, and their coffee is thebest served in Fremont!! Love this place!!! Read more

Went here for brunch. The place was not too crowded and we chose outside seating. I ordered the Sampler and Eggs Florentine.... Out of the three photos I uploaded, two are from the sampler. I chose the brown bread, French toast, country potatoes andscrambled eggs with my order. You can choose other options as well. Though the plate was huge, I did not quite enjoy it. Thepotatoes or the oil they were cooked in had a weird smell - as if they were stale or re-cooked. I did not get any sausage eitherand the ham was too dry. Hence the rating. Read more

Overall... it was good food. There was 4 of us. 3 of us ordered The Sampler. I got small piece of ham...the other 2 plates got... big pieces of ham steak. We all did not get same amount of country fried potatoes. Nice service. Took a star off for baconslightly burnt and not same amount of scrambled egg etc. Read more

Pretty nice 50's diner with glasses and plates to match! Checkerboard floors, metal ridged counters? Looks pretty nice! If only... they could do something about the roof and adding neon 50 times over cant hurt either! For COVID, they have a nice outdoor setupcompletee with hand sanatizer in the middle! Servers are alright, and they wern't too in a hurry to take your order. What Iordered is a pretty good teriyaki burger, the sause tasted pretty generic though, but the patty was perfect! You can customizefrom mushrooms to tomatoes and pickles and whatnot. It also came with one side, fries, onion rings, potato or macaroni salad. Ichose the onion rings, then I was surprised to see the server gave me fries instead, maybe a communication error? Its alright,as the fries were pretty good themselves and salted well. For the price, the burger underdelivers by around $2-3... I'll be sureto try their breakfast options sometime else! Read more
