Horrible place. Owner mrs sharma is super rude. She yells at he people. I saw her yelling at her employees and customers. Such a... disrespect. Food was mediocre. Too oily. We ordered chow-mien and Manchurian was too oily and stale oil. Lot of food is in roomtemperature not hot. There are lot of good places to try. I would skin this one. I visit this place regularly but off late the experience hasn’t been good. 1. Most of the times there is just 1 person... handling the counter and the attending to the phone orders. Quite annoying 2. Takeaway boxes are pathetic. Look at the picture.Makes me think that the compartments are smaller by design so that vegetable portions are smaller.. but it gets messy. Thisplace became famous because of variety and taste. But the customer service needs to improve. Read more
Update 9/19l8/2022 Ordered shahi paneer thali with kadhi pakora Again problem is packaging and quantity. Problem with packaging... is everything get mixed up during delivery. Kadhi Pakore tasted good but pakoda has no veggies like potatoes/ onions/ spinachetc. Pakoda is just simple tastless blob of chickpea mixture. Very disappointing. I don't mind paying extra dollars for properpackaging and quantity of food. This restaurant have lot of potential as they served homemade food. Every thing get mixed up during delivery. No pulav just plain rice . Allcurries mixed up in rice during delivery. Quantity of curries not adequate for the rice and roti. All curries should be packedin saperate containers. Taste wise food is good like homemade. Please improve packaging for to-go orders. Moong daal halwa wasinedible as it was so dry and had weird smell and after taste. That was unexpected surprise. Only plain roti/chapati availablein thali. Two bajra/jowar rotis costs 6$. Didn't get pickle/ salad/ raita either. Ordered Gobhi parantha with tiny serving onfeozen raita. Tea and Bread pakora. Gobhi parantha was absolutely delight just like homemade. As shown in doordash and uber eatspictures parantha not served with butter. Raita was completely frozen. Bread pakora was drenched in oil. Missing filling inside. It was not good. Very oily flavor. Food tastes good and the service treatment is also good but they lack in packaging. I have been here multiple times since they... opened up but it has been same with packaging everything gets mixed-up specially in Thalis. When mostly people gettake-outs,they need to improve on their packaging. Prices are not lower than anyone but packaging is. Read more
Have eaten at many Indian vegetarian restaurants in the Bay Area, but I have rarely seen such consistently spice-balanced, close... to home-made, good food. May it be palak paneer, mix veg curry, noodles pr anything. Food is not overly priced. You got to trytheir rasmalai. It’s the only place I have seen where the piece is soft, absorbs the malai and opposite of chewy. They’relive chaat counter is amazing as well. The ten pack roti was freshly made to order. The only down side is they don’t havemuch of a seating area. But you can take it Togo. Read more
