Fantastic food and very friendly service. This place is the real deal. They have a great selection of fresh sushi.

Good sushi restaurant with plenty of choices. Our group went for dinner. They have your standard sushi roles, like the lion... king, 49er role, and spicy tuna. They have a good balanced of raw and cooked sushi, so you'll find something in the middle. Igot the flaming dragon roll and the bento box #9. The bento box portion size was really good and fair for the price point itsat. Highly recommend it to get the best of everything the restaurant has to offer. For apps we ordered the Agedashi Tofu, it wasvery delicious. Service staff were very pretty responsive, kind, and engaging with us. Read more

I?m so disappointed. I went to grab a couple lunch specials. I even asked for the specials. It was 50 dollars for two small... bento boxes. We came on Juneteenth after 1) disappointment at KISEKI - only quick bites now and nigiri was completely removed from menu 2)... went to the other Satomi accidentally 3) and there was a wait I guess it was a holiday. We came at around 1:00pm and the waitwas around 20 minutes. Only one staff so we expected some wait after we placed the order, but she tried her best! Food wasdelicious and we are from Seattle (plenty of Japanese restaurants). We had katsu, tempura combinations, nigiris for ika, hotateand uni (of course for uni we ordered two), and lion king roll. I came to the conclusion that this definitely worth ourwait! Will come again, and so far, best Japanese restaurant in Fremont! Read more

A rather simple Japanese family style restaurant. The ambience is no so conducive as you would see in typical Japanese... restaurants. More to American style with simple setting inside. The golf is just average to my liking. All are in large size orjumbo size, ordered sushi platter and sashimi platter .. however sushi platter comes with sashimi y I think is duplicated sincewe have sashimi platter. The spicy tuna sushi was great and unagi sushi too.. the cut of the sashimi is in jumbo size whichtypically not the way the sashimi to be prepared . Sushi rice is way too much and you probably fill after 2-3 pieces. Thetempura is ok as no seasoning of the prawn taste bland.
