First time going, not so sure I'll be back? even though the food was good. My husband and I were the only customers in the... store, and it seemed like the manager/staff member was training a new employee? we've all been the new employee at some pointand we were in no rush, just picking up some food before heading home for a chill night in. However, the staff member wasrushing the trainee to such an extent that after rushing the trainee to finish my husband's order, he asked if there wasanything else to be added to the order: "yes, my wife's order" pointing to me. The trainee finished frying the falafel while thestaff member rushed my husband to pay. Then I asked for hummus, and was told I couldn't have it because it was a dollar and theorder has already been paid for *facepalm*... Don't close out the order before making any additions or upsells. Basic business,no? I told my husband that it was whatever and we probably had hummus at home, to which the staff member asked if I wanted to"transfer" some hummus from the container that was given with my husband's order. I've been here many times and usually get a regular combo platter with a couple of toppings.
Was in the Bay Area/Fremont and stopped in for a quick eat. Been to Halal Guys around the country so the experience was... predictable. Service was good. Location was good. Across from Costco. Easy to get to from freeway. Nothing unexpected. Read more

Tried the chicken wrap and the falafel small bowl. The wrap was delicious and the chicken well cooked. The falafel was not... fresh, the rice had no flavor and half the bowl was lettuce (why!). There was nothing special that?s make me go back here. Read more
I ordered combo plate and the beef , chicken was cold. Only the red rice was warm well. The employees looked they hated their... life there and they weren?t friendly at all. I paid about $20 for that plate plus soda. I?m so disappointed on this restaurant. Read more
