It is like being invited into a German person's home and having them cook Sunday dinner. The schnitzel topped with jäger gravy... alone is enough to make me want to come back. Service had their hands full but we did not want for anything...except maybe moregravy. Read more

Second time here. 7 years apart. Great atmosphere and German food. From outside it looks smaller than it is, but it?s still a... quaint French Lick icon. I had the zwiebelschnitzel and German fried potatoes. Huge portion and came out very hot. Servers aredressed the part and ours was on point with service and recommendations. Read more

Really nice place to dine. Great German food. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Brisk business and able to handle larger... groups. Only disappointment was some unavailability of menu items due to supplier issues. Highly recommend the asparagus saladwith German Vinegarette. Schnitzel any way is also delicious! Would dine here again. Read more

Was told to come here by locals and it is as authentic as it can get! Super cute place! Owners came from Germany and are the... sweetest. Food was fresh and the pretzel is A MUST. The best I?ve ever had along with that homemade cheese sauce. I would driveanother 4.5 hours just to get that pretzel again yummmmm. Read more

Sampler platter was really tasty! Only I it just plain tacky and tasteless for them to charge an extra $2.50 for 3 people to... share a platter for 2 which was more than enough food. It is unhealthy to punish customers for not eating to excess and there isno way that platter is a healthy amount for most people. Read more

We arrived late on a Sunday, but the friendly hostess was still happy to seat us. The decor has a kind of warm, Grandma kind of... charm. Not knowing a lot about German cuisine, we just took a shot and ordered jaegerschnitzel and goulash for the adults and aGerman hotdogs for the the 2 year old. We had the Sides Platter as well. The food arrived quickly, was well prepared, and platedattractively. Everything was DELICIOUS! The servers were all very friendly and helpful. Restaurants like this are difficult tofind these days with so many being short staffed. Our only problem was not being able to try more on menu during this visit. Read more
