We LOVE Denny's! We went to the Denny's on Shaw Ave. for breakfast. We walked in & waited to be seated. There was no one at the... counter, but an employee was behind the counter filling up drink cups. She made eye contact with us & continued fillingcups...didn't acknowledge us or say we'll be right with you. After waiting over 5 min., a gentleman employee came from outside &seated us. We ordered our meal. My husband ordered a breakfast with pancakes. We were served our meal & he brought us our tea...still no pancakes. After about 10 min the pancakes came. We asked for more tea & the server ignored us..I started choking onmy potatoes & after about 5-10 min. our tea came. I was really upset but my husband said to just ignore it. I'm sorry but Ididn't tell the establishment anything & just figured I would vent to Denny's online. We were very disappointed with theservice. Food was amazing but service needs a lot of work.Wasnt worth the money we paid. Think twice about this place. Read more

Only 1 cook and 1 server on a weekday night. Not their fault there were multiple groups dining that night but many items were... incorrect or missing. the food took about 1 hour. This is a management problem of not having enough staff. For a $100 tab onlyabout 2 items were correct. Hopefully they fix the understaffing. Read more

Went to this location last Wednesday. Arrived before 10 pm, The whole place was empty. No one came up to greet us, waited for... almost 10 minutes and called out to the 2 people in the back, one looks like the manager. Still nobody came out. We walked outfeeling ignored. This is one of the reasons that I don?t like Denny?s. The food and service is average. Read more

I came in at about 3:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. I was dining alone and so I decided to sit at the counter. My server was... friendly and helpful and immediately got me something to drink. I ordered a side salad with blue cheese and a double avocadobacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries. The salad was brought out within about 5 minutes and was fresh and delicious. My dinnerwas timed just right and came out just as I was finishing my salad. Enjoyed pleasant interactions all the way around with myserver and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Went here with friends hostess was probably tired and just didn't have energy. She got our orders mixed up when food came out.... Also the place had a smell kinda moldy slight pee smell. Was not impressed, my burger was good but my friends food was just OK.For example meat still a little pink not cooked well. Plus when I tried paying their system wasn't accepting my debit card.Would put my pin and it would put more numbers than I intended. It was embarrassing but finally busted out my credit card tofinally pay. Idk the experience here was not pleasant. I honestly did not tip. Not coming back to this Denny's. Read more

Denny?y is a good ?fall back on? place when you don?t know where else to go. It?s good for road trips, as familiarity breeds... comfort. Can?t remember why we ate here, because I usually don?t eat here when I am in my hometown. I prefer to support localbusinesses. But I would highly recommend Denny?s for road trips. Read more

So we?ve been at Denny?s for over an hour and we ordered medium rare T-Bone steaks and got raw steaks instead. To top it off... they were sent back twice and the bad part is the manager is the one on the grill. Denny?s on Shaw and First ???????? Read more

Denny's had the nerve to charge my card even though I called a thousand times and canceled my online order. I ordered online at... the Denny's website for a different location and at checkout it automatically switched it to this location because it's closestto me. I REFUSE TO EAT FROM THIS LOCATION. I will explain why. WITHIN MINUTES of finding out the switch, I called to cancel myorder and they claim they can't cancel it on their end and for me to cancel it online. THERE IS LITERALLY NO OPTION TO CANCEL ITON YOUR OWN. So I call back and the girl says she will ask her manager. She asked her manager and says I have to cancel itthrough door dash, WHICH I DID. And I call back for a third time to tell them to stop making the food because how do they evenknow which order they are referring to?? They never asked for my name, number, NOTHING. So I have to stop them from making myfood so it doesn't actually get delivered. The main reason I didn't want my food from this specific Denny's is because Iordered food in January from here, and there was a literal HAIRBALL in my food!!! So disgusting!!! They want to charge my card,well they will now be getting exposed ????. I should have posted this hairball review a long time ago. Read more
