My friends and I went and ordered some meals. My meal came back as ordered but my friends were overcharged and came back with... items missing. When trying to fix order the employee could not quite understand order and my friend gave up. They ended uppaying more for less. As far as the food, it was delicious and tasted freshly made. I really like a lot of the menu here. Personally i think the chicken has great flavor and the sides are tasty too. The mild... house salsa is excellent. Service here is usually quick, even if the drive thru is busy. Usually crowded around lunchtime. Edit: I usually go here or the In N Out nearby. Today (May 17), I try the drive- thru here around 6pm. The girl who tookmy money was pleasant but guy that brought my food to the window just stuck out his arm with a bag. I took it and said thanks. He just shut the window. Few seconds later, he returns with my change and receipt, I say thanks. Window slam again. Nothing.I see why In N Out constantly has a line and this EPL is rarely busy. Wasn't even worth the one star but zero stars is not an option. Very disappointed in this location compared to other el pollo... locos I've been to. I had a beef avocado quesadilla combo for $12.99. which includes a quesadilla chips & salsa with drink. Myquesadilla was cold and had more watery meet juice in it than it did meat. Small portion on the chips. I had to go back to thecounter to ask for my salsa they gave me a chunky salsa and a green Verde sauce in tiny plastic container that could probably beused to put your contact lenses in. 2 chips and it's gone. The whole meal wasn't even big enough to split with a friend and walkaway satisfied. Will never go back to el pollo locos store #6029 @ 4188 N. Blackstone. Ever. Read more
