Kayla at the nees location is wonderful. She's sweet conscientious and clearly concerned with do her job well. My food was... delicious but , a large portion of it I could not eat because it was not made the way I ordered it and I have dietaryrestrictions. She went above and beyond to make it right! Relatively small restaurant with an interesting setup with a long table on the left with multiple parties all sitting together.... Regardless, one of the better Fatoosh salads I?ve had topped with spicy chicken. Pretty fantastic. Two thumbs up. Read more
The shawarma skewers are awesome-best pita in town! Still love this place the flavor is good. I get the chicken kebab plate all... the time so I little shocked when I got home and opened it up for takeout and there was two peppers and one onion. What theheck. Food was great, service was ok. I ordered the combo plate to try a little bit of everything and I would recommend it if you... haven?t ate here. Flavor of everything was very good, salad dressing is light, humus was great. Will definitely return. Theservice wasn?t excellent. It was 2pm and not busy at all but the server treated everything very rushed, no refills offered, tabwas brought to me right after food was put on the table, asked to order more food and server never came back to the table. The restaurant was very clean and once I walked in I was greeted. The cashier was very sweet and wait for the food wasn?t long.... She walked it over to me and gave me all the proper utensils. The menu was a bit pricey but I feel like for the quantity of foodyou get it?s fair. The meat is medium rare unless you ask for it to be well done so if that?s something you like make sure youpolitely ask. Was expecting really good food based on the reviews. We placed a large order for our family of nine. We got undercooked, hard... rice and they forgot to put the extra garlic sauce we ordered. Very small portions compared to other Mediterranean restaurants.Garlic sauce was good though. Our kids food was cold. Was bummed out we really hoped it would be good since it?s close by. Read more
I?m normally hesitant about restaurants in Fresno, it?s hard to find a good one in this city. I consciously choose healthy... alternatives all the time and we decided to give Kabab City a try. First of all, amazing restaurant and service. The food comesin a very pleasing presentation. The flavor is 10/10. I am a vegetarian, ordered the veggie dish and it was to die for! Plusthey make their own hummus which is delicious! So far it is the best Mediterranean food restaurant I have tried in Fresno. Iwould totally recommend it! Read more
It was a busy night but good service per usual. Food was tasty, portions are definitely smaller than one thinks when eating... Mediterranean food. Got a little grossed out when I saw one of the cooks on his cell phone with food gloves on; then hung up thephone and went straight to handle the pita bread.
