Delicious food. I ordered the lamb burger medium well & it was Sooo juicy, flavorful I?m actually very upset at myself for not... finishing my meal but i also got a cup of clam chowder which was delicious as well. Good parts, OK parts, and pretty poor parts. The good parts; decent beer, and an excellent cheese plate. Both of these felt... really well priced! The OK parts; Our waitress was really overloaded on tables, so check ins were infrequent, and rushed. Thepoor parts; I had the island burger after reading reviews. Walked into this place being it had the best reviews... we were greeted and shown to our table where water in a bottle awaited... us. We waited for a couple minutes to get our orders in. Wife got the pappardelle pasta and I got a lamb Burger. Waitress wasAWESOME. She made the experience. There was an issue with the burger, which was okay with us. They promptly got another burgerout and treated us to desert and comped the entree/desert. Mistakes happen but they genuinely care that you have a goodexperience here. It?s 4.5 for me. Really great pub food. We had the clam chowder, fish and chips and lamb burger. All really tasty. Conveniently... located across from the ferry terminal. One of the best gluten-free meals we have had at a restaurant! We ordered the salmon chowder (definitely worth the try!), the... shepherds pie, and a side of grilled vegetables. The shepherds pie was a beautiful lamb stew with mashed potatoes on top, thebest gluten-free comfort food! The grilled vegetables were really really good! Most of the time, restaurants will give me a fewovercooked carrots and peppers, but they did a full spread of broccoli, broccolini, cauliflower, carrots, tomatoes, mushroomsthat were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. This restaurant has some great chefs behind the scenes! Also great local wineselection. Also really well priced! Wow, where to start. I got the lamb burger (which was fantastic in every way) but the meatless meatballs in the vegetarian pasta... were other-worldly. On top of that they had an amazing selection of wines and whiskeys. Would love to spend a week eating hereand sampling the menu because it seems like everything on their menu is excellent. Read more
