I wish I had read the reviews before stopping in. I've been there in the past and this in my opinion was one of the best... buffets in the Twin Cities area, however when I stopped in yesterday the styrofoam plates cups was an immediate turn off as tohow much waste and how bad they are for the environment. When I asked what was up with these styrofoam plates and cups one ofthe employees told me they're having problems finding staff for washing dishes. The buffet does not have the same offerings itdid last time I was in. There was a very loud argument between the staff that lasted quite a while, not quite sure what wasgoing on but management should have stepped in and brought that to another part of the restaurant very quickly instead ofletting it carry on for as long as it did. Next time I in the area I will check reviews hopefully this place can turn aroundotherwise I will not be back. $14 for what they had was overpriced. Read more

My biggest disappointment ever. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself. This place uses to be somewhat decent and... nowadays it is a total disappointment. I paid good money to eat a buffet with Styrofoam plates and cup. Not to mention theplastic forks and spoon that hard to pick up food. This place has totally lost it identity. As for the food, it not muchChinese food serve there. They have ham, Mac n cheese, Texas toast, some random pasta dishes, pizza, chicken nuggets, justto name a few. Only a few items there that I can recognized for a Chinese buffet. There is no stir fry station. They stillhave a sushi station. That is the only thing left of the original buffet it seems like. It just a waste of my time and moneyto go there. I can understand if they increase the price up to another $5_$7. I would more willing to pay for it rather thansee them cut corners like this. Sadly I won't be coming back to this place ever again and I don't recommend it to anyone. Thequality of the food is also questionable. The cold shrimp taste like it has been in the freezer for over a year. The steamfish and mussels are also bad, none of them have any taste. As for every thing else I would try with caution. Most items therelooks like it was heated and served. I'm surprised that they didn't put these food of the buffet on aluminum tray to save oncleaning. Good food! Good location to cities and various suburbs, good clean and health practices being used, for example plates not... reused and not washed but replaced, thanks for saving our planet water. The host and servers are wearing masks although it's nota requirement right now it's a nice practice at a place of consumption. The food was hot and replaced regularly. Lots of foodavailable and pretty good options! Lots seats but later in the evening it got more full. The server was good about refilling ourdrinks promptly. And even the koi pond water looked nice. There was a salad option, quite a bit of different fruits and jello, anice selection of desert; options with and without coconut. I would say that my family enjoyed our visit, we had a nice waitressand would come back again, the experience was pleasant, not overly loud, but outside temperature was close to 100 that day,their A/C works real well! Maybe bring a shal/cardigan/hoodie if your not a super hefty person, I got fluff and was cool. Goodfood, clean floors, clean table tops, clean plates and silverware. Oh yeah there was lots of seafood, fish, crabs, crayfish ectif that's what your searching for, this place had more so than other buffets that I have been to in the area. Read more

Loved this place PREpandemic... don't get me wrong it's great to get out but something happened to their quality otherwise covid... probably wrecked the chocolate fountain, ceramic plates, and metal utensils which all are not currently at the universitylocation. Well you know I really like the food. I’m not so sure I’m happy with the impact the styrofoam plates and cups have on the... environment. I’m also not sure I like that plastic forks either. May people in the reviews have made a comment about the placeusing this type of stuff. It’s time for a change. The amount of waste coming from this place is despicable. Also theatmosphere is so dark it feels bad. The staff are not friendly whatsoever. The food used to be top notch. Now you go there thefood is cold. The wings are over fried also not fresh. I like to give them a 5 star but unfortunately not anymore due to the way there eating wares is being replaced by plastic and... styrofoam wares, the plastic fork broke in my mouth while eating. Will not be going here anytime soon until all the normaleating wares are back again. Also they do not have disposable glove for there customer to use during there self service serve atthe bar.
