Not the best tamales as everyone is claiming. They are Tex Mex small tamales with minced meat filling. They come plain meaning... you have to buy the red or green salsa. There no salsa insidr the tamales. If youre craving gas station or frozen heated uptamales, this is better than your grocery store tamales. If authentic tamales is what you want, then look elsewhere. The guy isnice and place looks clean. Read more

Omg I'm so disappointed! We thought this place was a hidden gem - but how in the world?! These have to be store bought and... frozen. They were disgusting. My husband and daughter couldn't eat theirs. I had two, one of each, then couldn't eat any more. They're all going in the trash. We got chicken and spicy pork. There is no way these are homemade, no way! We are both blownaway by all the raving reviews. Either they're fake or the truck is selling different tamales on different days. There is no waythat many people think these gas station tamales are the best in town. They're very tiny, have a small amount of minced frozenmeat, taste like a frozen dinner and so dry you can hardly swallow it. I will give credit to the queso, it was really good. Read more

The tamales were not the best. We got two kinds, both types had little filling and one type (on the left) you can tell had been... sitting out for a while due to the hard outside and lack of moisture. Both the spicy pork and jalapeño were bland. If you arelooking for quality tamales i advise look elsewhere. Read more

Update 09/02: I think I'm addicted now, lol! On today's visit, I told them about my missing salsa from yesterday's order, and... they compensated me with some queso which from other reviewers claim is amazing. Thank you for understanding. Giving themanother star for good customer service. If the taste, service, and price stays consistent, I will definitely give them fivestars. Buy with confidence. ???? Update 09/01: Returned for another round of tamales. Give them another try. Thinking maybethe last batch was dry and this time they're better. I was right. The batch I got this time wasn't dry. Moist, flavorful, anddidn't crumble like my first order. The first visit was a good experience, so I figured I'll give them repeat business. Onthis trip, I ordered a dozen chicken tamales, chips, and salsa. I got the tamales and chips, but the salsa was not included inmy bag. Only found out when I got home. I even gave a 20% tip for the service. Tip should be done after receiving your ordernot during payment for the order. I called to request a refund for the salsa I didn't receive. I was told they'll call meback. It's been 45 minutes still no call-back. Due to this I'm deducting a star. If you order from here, be sure to checkyour bag to ensure you got your full order before you leave. Update: I was not expecting a big bag of chips! Awesome! Thetamales are sweet and savory, but a bit dry for my taste. They're rather small, but the quantity is sufficient. You have twooptions of buying a dozen hot for $9 or a dozen frozen for $8. There's spicy pork, mild pork, chicken, and bean tamales tochoose from. You also get two options for salsa. Red is spicy, and green is extra spicy. Additionally, they serve guac andqueso to go with your chips, but you have to pay extra for those. Overall, for one person I think a dozen would suffice tosatiate your craving. The prices are reasonable and the taste is good, but I deducted one star due to the dryn Read more
