Great place to sit eating chips with salsa while having a beer. The chips are a perfect blend of thin, crispy, and salty. The... salsa has just enough heat to go great with salty chips and beer. I recommend the Carnitas but the street tacos my girlfriendhad looked equally as good. Definitely would be a repeat customer if I wasn?t moving to Montana in 4 days. Shame we only justnow stopped in to try the food after all the Saturday?s of coming to the reptile shop a few doors down. Read more

Excellent breakfast tacos! Some of the best I've had in years. The tortillas were homemade, and they were delicious. We ordered... to-go; the service was fast and friendly. Read more

I have been living in the Houston area for almost 8 years and have partaken in many Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. I was taken... to this Moreno's a couple of weeks ago and was literally blown away considering it's location. I did not expect this kind offare so far south of the city. The chips and salsa is authentically homemade and the 'salsa picante' I requested to accompanythe chips was excellent. To top it off, their iced tea is some of the best tea I have drank. And, I brew my own. I have onlyeaten two different flavors of enchiladas and both were excellent and served piping hot. I recommend the Cilantro Enchiladas. The fajita chicken just melts in your mouth and comes with a satisfying amount of queso. I look forward to visiting again andtrying something different. This place really deserves a higher than 4.1 stars on Google Maps. But, since I have lived in thearea I've learned that a high rating means nothing in the Houston Metropolis. I have eaten in some highly rated establishmentsthat I would never revisit. This Moreno's deserves a try. Read more

Their chips have to be the best thing I had to be honest. I went in for a quick lunch and ordered the ranchero enchiladas from... their lunch special with chicken fajitas. The favor of the enchiladas was good but that was definitely not chicken fajitas, looked more like tuna so I?m assuming it was from a can. The rice and beans it came had a citrus flavor to it, very weird, andto top it off the little side salad was not fresh at all. Read more

I have eaten a Moreno?s Friendswood for years. Today as we often do had lunch at the church ordered tacos and the shells were... stale! Call the manager after several minutes in fact we had emptied the shells so we could have something to eat the managerwho previously for years has been a waiter came over and we shared a disappointment and he offered a new play tacos howeverbecause of the time it took for him to respond we did not want any play what we wanted was a discount reflected in our mealprice. He actually said and I quote I didn?t come here To have a discussion. After further discussions he finally gave us adiscount on the tacos. His lack of willingness to listen and remedy the issue in a manner that was appropriate has resulted inthe result of a long-term customer. Read more

Clean, good service. Price was fair for quality of food. I didn't try the margaritas. Murals and chairs are fun. The chicken... flauta was good. Queso okay. Beans and rice were enjoyable. Cilantro and guacamole had cilantro in them (food allergy). No suboffered for salsa (some places will bring a ranchero sauce). Sliced, fresh avocado offered to replace guacamole. The choppedfajita meat in my soft taco was dry. Menu held a wide selection. It won't become our local "go-to" place. We will return for abeverage and appetizers. The nachos sounded good. Read more

It was as good as I expected it to be. I had their breakfast. Customer service was slow in the morning but they did okay. I... would recommend this place. I would eat here again. It has a nice bar there as well with televisions, so that was a nice touchto the well-decorated place. Read more

Good spot for solid Mexican food. I had the carne asada and it was tasty but little overdone. The chips and salsa and cheese dip... are on point. The ribs are also pretty good. Read more
