Wow, what can I say, I hope she doesn't mind mentioning her name but the server Haley was very knowledgeable and told me about... the fresh ingredients and the effort the chefs put in, to making the whiskey cake. Almost all of the ingredients are locallysourced and fresh and you can taste it when you eat it also it was a special birthday for me and my friend and we had anexcellent time and the prices were very reasonable considering an ambiance is at the level of arrival say, Perry's. Great atmosphere, decent food, portions are just right, and excellent service. I came here on a Monday night with my friend who... was visiting from out of town and it wasn't busy. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the deviled eggs toshare, my friend had a Roasted Cauliflower salad with the Jessica Wabbit juice, I had the Whiskey Braised Short Rib with aseasonal Watermelon drink, and we shared the namesake dessert - Whiskey Cake. My favorite restaurant hands down. This is my birthday spot, our dinner date spot. I come here every chance I get to pick where... we eat. Food is always great, we’ve never had anything bad. You have to try the deviled eggs and the fried green tomatoes.Drinks are always awesome. I’ve found lots of good bourbons by trying the flights. Our waitress was knowledgeable on the menu made great suggestions to us and othertables around us. Every item we ordered was tasty. From garlic butter green beans, to a more complex creation of a BLT. From Drliked eggs to Thai bbq duck legs. Menu has great variety while keeping it a relatively tight number of selections. Their drinkspair up with the meals wonderfully and do not disappoint. The restaurant had plenty of space to accommodate guests with specialneeds and was extremely clean. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. You can tell making the customers happy... is their main priority. Food is awesome, and the whiskey cake dessert is 100% worth it. Read more
Love it. My date and her family took me here for my first time. Ordered the chicken and waffle. Honestly I've had better... chicken and waffles. But it's not gonna hurt my rating to this place. Between the ambience, service, & experience. Idefinitely plan on coming back one day. Next time I'll just order something different. Also, there restrooms are different, but in a good way. Stopped by Whiskey Cake for brunch and had a great time. The restaurant was really busy but the wait for a table was brief. The... staff did a great job of getting tables cleared and prepared for new guest. The brunch items were also very good. During thevisit we tried the chicken and waffles, the hangover burger, and B.E.L.T. Each dish was great. We really enjoyed every bite. Welook forward to our next visit. Read more
Whiskey Cake never disappoints. We got to hear from a waitress explain how all of their food is locally sourced. Even the... candles on the table are made locally. That was pretty cool. The whiskey selection is amazing! And of course the food neverdisappoints. You cannot leave without Whiskey Cake. We love that you can get a To Go version that is just as good! Read more
