Walked in here very excited to have a few glasses of wine after skiing one afternoon (Thursday?), but left 10 minutes later... without ordering anything. Inattentive, rude treatment by the two young women bartenders. The place was virtually empty, just ahandful of people at the bar and at a few different tables, yet they could not be bothered to even acknowledge our presence orgive us a smile or any other basic courtesy. What did we do to deserve this kind of treatment? Avoid this place if youappreciate good customer service. Read more
We walked in sat down. Looked at the menu and couldn't find what we wanted. We went to the bar and tried to talk the bartender... who was incoherently drunk. His fellow bartender asked him to make a Moscow mule. He couldn't either comprehend or respond. We left with 15 minutes of arriving. Good luck. Read more
Great cocktail bar with an amazing selection of spirits. Bar tenders make very tasty drinks to order with good variety of... different bitters, syrups and garnishing. Wine selection was a tad lacking, a few very high ends bottles and one lower end,could use a few more options in the moderate price range. Overall, a good bar with nice atmosphere but bring your wallet it'snot cheap. Read more
The husband and I had a great time here last night! If you are a whiskey connoiseur- this is the place for you. They have a huge... whiskey list and staff is knowledgeable. They even have a "build your own" old fashioned which I thought was neat so I had 2????Prices are high on some whiskeys- but many places around the area are more expensive for food, drinks, etc. so this was notsurprising. Oh man, this place was great. A dive bar with all the whiskey a liver could ever handle, and they do karaoke! Whether you're... tired from the slopes, or your wife just left you for your attorney, High Rockies Whiskey and Wine Bar is for you! Sing yourblues away while you get lifted at 10,000 feet! 2nd time visiting this month. First time around I'd have given it a 4. Limited menu and tasted okay but did have decent... drinks. Second time I went I'd give it a zero. Pork sliders room temp, skimpy on the meat, and the side of kettle chips werepractically non-existent. The 26 year old blonde bartender, Stephanie?, was attentive until a reggae musician came in that wasdiscussing her wedding plans with her. I never received the last drink I ordered and finally just paid and left. Notprofessional. Also need to step up the menu and portion sizes. Great bar just off the main circe, perfect spot for afternoon sun and cocktails. Karaokee on weds night. Pool table in the... basement. Have a beer in the sun and watch folks hit the halfpipe. Read more
