Went for a lunch Buffet on a weekday and they had a decent variety of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Tasted most... of the food items and all tasted good and were not too spicy. Service was really good, the wait staff were very prompt inremoving finished plates as well as refilling water and soft drinks. Please do ask for the dosa which comes as part of thebuffet. Overall a very spacious restaurant and would definitely be going back again.. Read more

Really impressed with the Sunday buffet. The selection was phenomenal, so there’s something for everyone. I especially liked... the chicken kuzhambu curry and the crab curry. And unlimited gulab jamun might be the best thing ever. The carrot halwa dessertwas also amazing. Read more

The Chennai Cafe is a south Indian style restaurant located in the Preston area, Frisco, Texas. The restaurant ambience is good... with wall paints and some wood crafts. The restaurant have Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian options and they do have filter coffeewhich is very famous in south India. We have visited this for dinner during the weekday and we have gone with the buffet. Thebuffet price is < 20$. They have live dosa and appam counter. The veggie and non veg options are good and dessert also good. Weliked the food here. For your reference I am posting pictures of the food options when we have visited. Read more

Several years ago when we visited Dallas, we had been to their other branch in Irving (now closed) and we liked it. So when we... visited Dallas this time, we wanted to go and have lunch here. We had visited the Karya siddhi Hanuman temple in the morning andit was not very far from there, so we decided to eat here. The buffet was good with a lot of options, a bit on the higher side -about 17 bucks per head and 12 for kids. I loved the idli and vada + sambar. Had masala Dosa, naan and curries. Pongal wastasty. The sweets were great as well - had gulab jamun, payasam and badushah. I also had their masala chai - was so fullystuffed by the time we finally left. Read more

Authentic Indian taste especially south Indian. No compromise on the taste. Basically, this is an unlimited buffet. The... resturant has a large Indoor seating area. You will find variety of Indian food. You do get good vegetarian options here. Neatclean and well organized. Today (Friday) I visited the place and I paid 20.55 $ per person. As veg options: Appam with coconutmilk, Dosa, idli, daal vada, coconut chutney, sambar, green chutney, curd rice, paneer curry, paani poori, bhel puri, pappadpuri, noolappam (idiyappam), chola bhattura, baby corn, veg korma, raitha, and more.... Non veg side: biriyani, non vegcurries, crab.. On sweet side: Gheer, bhoondi, rasgula,... You have plenty of items available and trust me you never feeldisappointed.. Good ambiance too.. Read more

Went to this restaurant on Sankranthi(pongal) festival. They had a buffet and the number of items and food was good. Their appam... was tasty and other dishes tasted good too. Ordered the thali second time for carryout this time. The food was ok but not sotasty as first time. The price looks bit higher specially for thali carryout. This place is busy and had to wait for about 30mins outside after the scheduled pickup time. Overall, I would recommened to try this restaurant once Read more
