Good food and great service! Reminds me of a good old-fashioned diner. The entire staff is incredibly friendly! The food is... good, not exceptional, but gets the job done. If you're looking for a good place to eat with great service and a dependablemenu, this is the place Read more

For the price, this was a great stop for our family! We were there for breakfast and we had a full table of food! If you leave... hungry, it's your own fault! There were six of us so we had every possible breakfast they offer and all of it was perfect! Theservice was quick too! Read more

Not only do they have vegan options, they have a MYRIAD of absolutely DELICIOUS vegan options. For a cute small town diner in... Texas, my boyfriend and I were blown away at the well crafted vegan dishes we were presented with. The French toast, VeganMigas, and the banana pancakes were all such a treat. Thank you Depot cafe! If you?re looking for a quick breakfast and no hassle, you need to try this traditional American fast food breakfast. I still... consider this fast food because it?s fast, self service, and greasy too. Overall still good and it?s worth the try for cheapeats. Read more

This is a great little place to eat. Their portions are really big. Got the chicken fried steak?was very good. Service is... fast! My buddy got the chorizo breakfast and that was a ton of food. I didn?t try the cake but it is supposed to good as well. This is a classic little diner. Nothing fancy, no frills. Good food, good service, large portions. Read more

Ordered the English muffin breakfast sandwich, the sausage was a super dry patty, don't know how long it was just sitting there... before it was added in this sandwich. The English muffin was not crispy at all, super soft like they just warmed it up andserved it. Overall would not recommend the breakfast sandwich. Maybe the other food is good. But will not return. Good decor, and it's got a lot of historical trappings, which is cool. There's a few special tables, the large one towards the... center has a lazy Susan in the middle. Another one has an old population sign above it from when Frisco had a population of~1800. This location used to be a train Depot, hence the name. Average "home cooking" type meals. $9 for a burger and onionrings that was slightly better than fast food, but worse than Sonic. There are two types of onion rings: breaded, crispy onionrings; and onions that have been wrapped in a layer of smooth, greasy breading. They serve the second kind. We ordered, took anumber, sat down, and they brought the warm food to the table about five minutes later. I don't know how it was that fast, butnot hot. They have an assortment of hot sauces and condiments available, from Tabasco to one called Firey Devil. An okay placeto eat if you don't believe in COVID, maybe? (July 2021) No masks, social distancing or anything acknowledging that COVID everexisted, even as deaths are on the rise again due to the Delta variant. Overall: Overpriced and underwhelming. I wanted to likeit, partly because it's a local, historical spot; partly because my mom really likes this place, but it wasn't for me. I won'tbe going back. Read more

So it was my 1st time eating here. I looked on Google maps and found it. It looks country style cafe so I tried it. I got the... lunch special. The Chicken Fried Steak with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy and a roll and a slice of freshstrawberry cake for $8.95 plus tax. That's a steal! Then Emily was courteous and professional. The food was as great as theprice. Highly recommended. Read more
