I used to love this place for a cheat meal. However I bought a Large Hawaiian today + 2 large sides of macaroni salad and there... was just a very thin layer of hawaiian chicken meat. I used to get twice this amount this is not a large size. I won't be backsince they want to start shortchanging customers. Now apparently it is double the rice and half the meat. It is a total ripoffnow. Update 09/23/2022: The restaurant attempted to make it right with me so I am bumping the review up to 3 stars from 1.However if there portion size continues to be this small on the largest plate they offer, I won't be back. This place was great! The food was amazing! I had the luau pig and the sweet and spicy chicken. Both were great, as was the... macaroni salad. They also have an amazing pineapple bbq that paired great with the luau pig. The only reason why I didn?t givethem 5 stars was because I specifically asked for no rice at all (I am allergic to it). They typically give you a scoop of riceand put the meat on a bed of rice. I was very specific that I didn?t want either, and that is what it said on my receipt (norice scoop or rice bed). When I got in my car to eat it, there was still the rice bed under the meat. I had to pick the meat outof it and try to avoid eating the rice so I don?t get sick. Other than that, the food and the service was great. The employeeswere very friendly and helpful. I would go here again just check my order before I leave. Read more
Salad look very good all good fresh contents sec I ndvdish was the one protein lunch with steamed rice and macaroni salad. Sweet... and hot chicken fresh but I thought lacked flavor. Wow! This place was delicious. Incredible food and service. Visiting from out of town and it was our first time at a Hawaiian... Bros. Slade was so friendly and extremely helpful and patient in answering our questions. He thoroughly explained all the menuoptions, served our food, and checked up to make sure everything was good. It was refreshing to experience such excellentcustomer service. The food was unique, flavorful, and not heavy on the stomach. There were so many combinations in the flavorprofile. Great portions also. Got a large and split it with a friend and it was perfect. Can?t wait to come back! Read more
