I would not recommend this place. We ordered few items, but none of them were good. Chicken biriyani - they must have run out of... it so they took some plain rice mixed it with garam masala which stood out both visibly and in taste which made it inedible andburied few chilli chicken pieces( we can vouch because we bought chilli chicken for appetizer ) . This is not how Vijayawadabiriyani is made, I am certain about it!! Next item we ordered was chilli chicken , where the chicken was rock solid and bitinginto it would kill your appetite. This was our first time eating Indian food and it was delicious. I like spicy food so I the chicken tikka masala, and my wife... got the vijayawada boneless chicken biryanis (but we asked for ?spicy level 0? for her dish). Both were excellent, next time wewill probably up the spicy level on the biryanis. I?d been wanting to take my wife to have Indian food for years and this was apleasant experience. Thanks! Read more
My friend and I were on a walk at night with our dogs and we wanted to get some waters, so she went in to buy a couple. A few... minutes later she went back in to get another one for our dogs and the owner gave us the bottle of water and two cups for ourdogs! I went to this restaurant bases on th reviews.. I ordered Vijayawada chicken Biryani. It\'s salty, rice is not cooked properly,... spicy and tasteless. Chicken in the biryani had too much of coating and I didn\'t felt like it\'s chicken. I ate 20% of biryaniand trashed it. Waste of time and money. I will never go back. Read more
Came here all the way from plano looking at the other positive reviews. We ordered two vijayawada boneless chicken biryanis. ... It was so spicy that we couldn\'t even eat the biryani at all, and both the rice and chicken tasted like from weekends. I hateto leave bad review like this but we are really disappointed with our first visit itself. Read more
I ordered and waited for my food inside, last week.I asked for plain chicken curry, and the guy kept saying chicken tikka, I... said no, and pointed to the specials that said chicken curry, this went on three times before he finally got it. I especiallyrequested less spicy ( the guy nodded his head, okay okay) for my kids and their friends. I get back home , the girls were sohungry but couldn?t even eat it and said it?s too spicy. Great Take out place, tried chicken 555 and Gutti Vankaya, kids loved them too. Unlike the usual dryness on the chicken... appetizer, this item is with spices surrounded and very well made. Will visit again. Read more
