Food was good, OK stop if you are in area. Didn't try sushi but other dishes were not bad. Salad was a bit excessive on leafy... greens. Noodles were OK. Other options to go to if you are not close by. Service was friendly. Read more

We’ve been to this restaurant four times so I feel I’ve been here enough to give an honest perspective without it being... one-off issue. The food is pretty good on both the hibachi and sushi sides…probably worth 3.5 to 4 stars. That said, theservice at Shoji’s is HORRIBLE…quite possibly the worst in Frisco/Plano. More often than not, when you arrive nobody greetsyou. You stand waiting to be recognized (today was nearly 10min). When they do, they don’t tell you what to expect. Is thereroom? How long will it be? Don’t know…no communication. So, you wait more. Tonight, with the server on the sushi side, theissue was the same…no communication. Brought out all other dishes for 3 of our party of five. Then, had to ask for the rest ofthe meal which they seemed to have forgotten. In short, if you have patience, low service expectations and want decent Asianfood (by Dallas metro standards), check it out. Read more

The food was good BUT they added $20 to our tip! There were four of us. We paid a very generous tip in cash and they added this... "tip" after we had signed the ticket. That is just plan theft! We will never go back. If they did it to us, I'm sure they havedone it to others. Read more

We LOVE this place!!!! Our 7 year old always asked to have Chino as our chef. All of the servers are wonderful. Attentive and... kind. The food is amazing. So much food and cooked to perfection. We don't go anywhere else for Hibachi. The sushi is great too.If you haven't tried it, you have to, it's worth it! Read more
