I have been very eager to try this place. Sorry to say that I experienced mixed results. I ordered on the app, and it was very... easy to use. However, when you show up, you still have to park and haul through that large parking lot to pickup your food. Itwould be nice if they had some sort of system for that situation. Only one guy at the counter taking orders from the walk incustomers and he was not interested/too busy to bother with me. A manager type finally came over to help me. He informed me thatthey were out of the fruit bowl side that had been ordered, which I thought was odd since they are inside the largest grocerystore in Frisco. When I arrived home, One of the orders was supposed to be smoked turkey, but when we got home, I discovered itto be sliced brisket. It tasted quite good, but it wasn't what was ordered. 1hr total time to receive our food. It was a 40min wait to the register, as the line was out the door. One person at the... register and 1 delivering food. I asked if BBQ sauce was in the bag, they said yes. I got home to find it was not included. Thelist of reviews below are confirmed. TERRIBLE! Each reply from management below indicates they know there are problems, yet theydo not step in to improve the processes for their customers OR their staff. Potato salad and coleslaw are really good. I got the Chopped and sauced brisket. It was good but mostly tasted the sauce. The... sauce has a nice peppery taste, but I'd have preferred a little less. Next time I'll ask for just Chopped. It did have a goodmix of brisket including burnt ends. I'd like try it again. Service is very fast once you place your order. Everyone was veryfriendly. Read more
The barbecue stuffed baked potatoes were amazing. We got the sauce brisket one and the pulled pork one and the meat on both was... really good. They have a large selection of teas and lemonade sodas and beer. We got banana pudding and peach cobbler fordessert and both were really good. The potato salad was okay I prefer mustard potato salad. We waited in line for about 15minutes but it was totally worth it because the food was delicious and we all left with full tummies and big smiles ????. I'vebeen recommending it to everyone I see ???? So this is a honest review. Ribs were good. Baked Beans were good. Brisket was not bad. BBQ sauce was good. Pork and... sausage had much better. This is from a order we had on Friday. Now this is where they need to do better. After waiting for15 minutes for their drive through to open at 11am this Sunday a gentleman comes out and says they are having issues and theyare waiting for somebody to come fix the issue. I called at 11:15 to see if their issues were fixed and was told they areserving inside but not through the drive through. If you are not aware there is 20 to 30 minute line just to get into HEBbecause of the free groceries they are giving away. (Joke) Now they could have accommodate the two cars that were waiting for15 minutes by taking their order and processing the order inside but that would have been good customer service. Incredible! Lots of firsts? first time trying True Texas BBQ, first one to order a Blood & Honey from Revolver Brewing, and... first to leave a review. Brisket was amazing? perfect smoke and bark, pulled right apart easily. Texas Tornado was also verygood. I?ll be back here for sure Read more
My experience was great! Brisket and pork were good, and the bbq sauce was very tasty. The sides were not the best I?ve had,... but they were still tasty and just like a lot of quality Texas BBQ spots we?ve visited in the past. We?ll be back. Love theunique items on the menu. Read more
