You must not need my business too badly! I called to see if you could accommodate up to 13 people and you did say you had a semi... private area. When I asked other questions about possibly arriving at five and having a drink in the bar, you indicated thatwould probably not work, but that I should come by and look at it and talk with the manager. I asked if the manager could callme and you said that would really not be possible and that I would just have to come by. I had told you that I did not liveremotely close and that between now and Thursday I would not be able to come by. You basically hung up on me! I understand ifyou cannot accommodate 13 people arriving near same time, but I cannot understand the rudeness and lack of consideration of whatI was saying. I have lived in Dallas since 1964 and I have followed Tupinamba everywhere it has been. Since I don?t live inFrisco, I have not been to this location. I do know that the family would not tolerate or appreciate your rudeness. Read more

Good food! Really good food. A lot of flies indoors and one landed on my food. My server replaced the meal. By that time, I was... literally tire of fighting off the flies but hey, the flies found the food to be as good as I thought it was, I guess. Read more

It all starts with the salsa... Fantastic flavor with a touch of heat! That's how you know if a restaurant is worthwhile. The... guiso is my "go-to" plate now. The stew meat is tender and tasty, and the enchilada has my favorite Tex-Mex chili con carnesauce. This place is a great place if you need your Tex-Mex fix! Read more

I can?t believe I?ve passed this low key spot up. A friend and I visited on last Friday for drinks and a good time and that we... had. It?s a smaller, more intimate spot that?s not concerned with the aesthetics and puts more energy into the food and customerservice! Pictured is the tupychanga with con queso. My friend knew the bartender as he?s a regular so he made sure to make mefeel at home! Overall I enjoyed my time here on last week! Great food, vibes and drinks! Read more

The Meal: Presentation is always key, and in this case, this was not aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn?t dump a lump of meat in... the middle of the plate. The portions of ingredients were not done as well as it could?ve been, because there was way too muchlettuce in the bowl. Iceberg lettuce is perfect for a taco salad because it?s not overpowering as far as flavor, however it?stexture can be a little on the firm side. If you don?t cut it correctly, it causes excessive work to just chew your food andthat isn?t enjoyable at all. On the contrary, the tortilla bowl was fried to perfection because it had a great consistency oftexture. The entire bowl was light, airy, and perfectly crispy. There was no excess grease lingering in the fried dough, it wascertainly given the proper time for draining. Overall, it was a mediocre salad; there wasn?t much of a dynamic taste. If you?regoing to do something traditional, use top shelf ingredients to make it stand out rather than blend in. The Atmosphere: 100%FAMILY FRIENDLY ! It is the perfect spot to have lunch after church on Sundays. The Service: A friendly approach can go a longway, not everyone can handle a stern attitude. The server was harmless. His personality was just a little strong, but he wasalso very willing to answer any questions or concerns. He did a decent job with checking on the table making sure we had refillson the table. Final Grade: (C -) I can?t stress enough how important presentation is because first impressions are whatpeople tend to remember. The freshly fried salad bowl, as well as the short wait time on food and seating, is what kept thegrade at a passing standpoint. The company really needs to re-evaluate their presentation when it comes to certain items on themenu. I was not pleased by how disturbing it looked to have my food served to me in such a manner. Also, make sure allingredients are not only diced evenly to size, but also portioned adequately. Simple dishes like these need t Read more
