Although I've lived in Warren County for years I had never tried this little Mexican restaurant tucked away in the corner of the... Martin's Shopping Center. My husband and I were Jalisco loyalists until it closed, but who knew THIS was in Front Royal!? (Their mirrored windows hide an inviting interior.) There are so many things on their menu I'd like to try. The restaurant isclean and beautifully decorated and the service is great. I had the salmon tacos last time and they were superb. This is our go to Mexican restaurant. We came here on Friday night and it was packed. We waited a short time to be seated.... Service was fast. Food came out quickly and hot. Salmon tacos were delicious. My wife ordered the Fajita Burrito w8th a side ofbeans and said all of her food was very good. Read more
Been here several times and the food especially has always been great. My overall favorite in Mexican restaurants that I... remember. Flavors and consistency are always spot on. I literally salt everything but they have such good balance, I don't needto. The atmosphere is also very nice, they've done a great job with the whole feel. Staff has been pleasant as well. Had to order takeout because I had my dog with me, and it was still worth it! You get a lot of flavorful food for a very... reasonable price. I recommend the fish tacos and the burritos. Burrito tastes way better than chipotle’s. A little saltierthan I prefer, but nonetheless, amazing quality Mexican food. Read more
Delicious!! Haven't tried it? Stop in!! Have had several people tell me that I needed try El Maguey, and glad I finally did! The... service was perfection, everything was served in a timely manner. The waitress was personable, and it made my first time anoverall pleasurable experience. The draft beer is fresh, with clean lines, the Bloody Mary looked as wonderful as it tasted. Thefood? Beautifully displayed and high-quality ingredients as described and advertised. I got the California Burrito, while myboyfriend got the Enchiladas. Both were impeccable, and we almost finished everything. I also would suggest the new freshcoleslaw. It is a delightful purple color, and taste marvelous with the chip appetizer. Will be going again soon. The lunchspecials, weekly specials, and daily drink specials will have me looking forward to something refreshing and new.
