We stayed 3 nights at the doubletree Hilton and took advantage of Hoolihan?s next door. Breakfast 3 mornings were the best we... have ever had?biscuits light and fluffy, eggs always cooked perfectly, waffles, pancakes also delicious. Never had a poached eggout that wasn't served in a little dish with excess water in it. Their poached were served on the plate, no excess water, nextto crisp bacon, biscuit and hash browns. Service outstanding. Dinner one evening didn?t disappoint. Fish tacos crispy withright amount of spice. My husband had the burger with tasty sweet potato fries cooked just right. Wouldn't hesitate to come backagain next time we are in town. Read more

Houlihan's in Front Royal, Virginia never disappoints.. I can go just to eat their Shrooms ????. The Fish and Chips is another... one of my Favs although I have had a lot of their dishes and everything is delicious. The Drinks are Intensely delicious aswell. Raspberry Lit and Mai Tai YUM... Delicious appetizers! Firecracker shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps were fantastic! Drinks were good. I don't understand why the... place wasn't crowded. We can't wait to go back. Read more

Breakfast was good and the service was better. We stayed at the hotel and went over in the morning. They serve a small menu (not... a buffet on the day we ate there 8.15.22) with a decent variety (eggs, meats, pancakes, Belgian waffle, egg sandwich, fruit, yogurt) for about $10-$15 a meal. The omelet was delicious, but the eggs over-easy were a little poached tasting and the homefries were perfect. Read more

My girl friend and I are both teachers and we stayed at the Doubletree hotel for a few days for a quick getaway to relax after a... challenging and tiring school year. All we wanted was to unwind, watch trashy TV shows, eat and drink to kick off our summervacation. Houlihans is attached to the hotel and Doubletree gave us vouchers for breakfast during our stay. The menu waslimited but the food was delicious!!!! Waffles, bacon, grits, fresh fruit, and the OMELETTES! Oh, the omelets were devine withjust the right balance of ingredients and seasonings. Our server Niki was the best! Friendly, accommodating, funny and sosweet! My friend's birthday was on the last day of our stay and Niki, knowing that we were there to relax offered to bring usour breakfast when we called to order it. Not only did she bring it to our room, she added two blueberry muffins with whippedcream and birthday candles!! The hotel was nice, but the food and service at Houlihans will now make this an annual getaway! Thanks Niki!!! Read more

Where to begin? For starters, this is not the Houlihan?s you are expecting. For at least a medium period of time, they don?t... have booze? They have a very limited menu? And they are not taking credit cards. Apparently this all has something to do withthe recent transition of the attached hotel from being a Holiday Inn to being a double tree. I was all excited to be cruising byand see a double tree with a Houlihans attached which made me feel assured that there was good accommodations, good beer andgood food close at hand. In the end, it all worked out? But definitely not up to the level that I would expect of Houlihan?s andDoubletree. Right on the door to Houlihan?s there are a bunch of home printed signs telling you, no booze, no credit cards, andmany other things. Once I got past that, I was greeted by a host/hostess that just wanted to tell me his life?s story of miserybefore he seated me or answered any of my questions. The first bartender ? female whose name I don?t remember - was nothingshort of rude and unhelpful when I asked her what beers they had. Truly, Lulu saved the day when she arrived. She is definitelythe one bright and shining star of the evening crew. She answered all my questions, provided great service, and basicallysalvaged my mood and evening. I was the only customer when I first arrived, but around late dinner time the bar area basicallyturned into a loud golf clubhouse. They apparently crowded all of the customers into the bar area by design due to limitedservers. there were only a handful of things on the menu. Chips and salsa we?re basically gas station quality. Kansas City stripwas good, but there were no vegetables to be had on the entire menu. breakfast service the next morning was great? But the fooditself was mediocre at best. The whole thing was more like a McDonald?s and Motel six experience with broken computers than itwas what I would expect out of Houlihan?s and DoubleTree? But they still charged Houlihan?s and double Read more

Staff were friendly but our waitress disappeared on us. It seems all of the restaurants are under staffed because of covid. The... $30 strip steak I got was over salted and I couldn't cut over 1/2 of it with the provided knife it was so stringy. Was advisedthey cut their own meat from full-size cuts ?!?! So you get what you get. They did a beautiful 5 star presentation on both ourdishes and the restaurant was nice and clean. The salad was really good. I will try this restaurant 1 more time. The stuffedchicken breast was good. No issues with that. Read more
